>聽力文本Interviewer:Tday,I’m talking t Ms Ga Li and Mr Ga Ming. The brther and sister were living in Chngqing during the War f Resistance against Japanese Aggressin and experienced the five-year terrr bmbing campaign by Japanese frces. Ms Ga,what are yur first memries f that time? Ga Li:I was nly eight years ld when the bmbing started in the year 1938, and the first bmbs fell a lng way away frm ur huse. I remember ur huse shk and I saw fires in the distance . Interviewer:That must be terrible fr a child! And Mr Ga,what are yur first memries f the bmbing? Ga Ming:Well,I was three years lder than my sister. The first thing I remember was the bmbing planes. They flew s lw. I went ut n the street t watch. Interviewer:Hw did yu feel when yu went int the street? Ga Ming:Well,at first I was fascinated by the planes and the nise they made,but sn I was scared. Interviewer:I can nly imagine hw it must have felt. What was the mst terrible experience yu had during that time,Ms Ga? Ga Li:Well,I’ll never frget what happened n the fifth f June 1941. I remember the Japanese were targeting the residential areas. There wasn’t enugh time fr us t get t the bmb shelter s we stayed in the basement. Interviewer:Hw lng did the bmbing last n that day? Ga Li:We waited fr five hurs until the bmbing stpped. It was abslutely terrifying . Our huse was destryed,and dead bdies culd be seen all ver the street. Over 4,000 peple were killed that day. Interviewer:I’m srry t hear that. Mr Ga,hw d yu feel when yu think abut it nw? Ga Ming:I feel sad fr all the victims,but the bmbing didn’t destry ur fighting spirit. Ga Li:Yes,despite everything,arund 960,000 f the city’s sldiers went t the frnt t fight the Japanese. It’s n wnder Chngqing became knwn as the“city f heres ”. Interviewer:And hw are they remembered tday? Ga Ming:Every year n the fifth f June,the air raid warning is sunded acrss the city.
