Unit 6 AdmirableLesson4 Review本節(jié)課是高中英語第二冊Unit 6 Admirable的第四課，課型是復習課，包括了寫作、閱讀和口語表達，寫作課主要是摘要概況。閱讀課有兩篇文章，一篇主要向學生們介紹了航天英雄，；另一篇主要向學生介紹了一名德國小女孩在納粹戰(zhàn)亂時期寫下的日記?？谡Z表達在主要是運用本單元所學詞匯、語法表達出對值得敬佩的人的稱贊和尊敬。通過本節(jié)課的學習，學生將在英語聽、說、讀、寫綜合方面的能力得到提高。語言技能目標（1）學生能夠借助關鍵詞，在理解文章大意的基礎上，找出段落主題句，完成讀前問題；（2）用所學的詞匯和語言的對課文進行復述；（3）學生能夠借助已知的關鍵信息，適當補充輔助信息，寫出內容完整的摘要。語言知識目標（1）能夠正確收集完成摘要的內容提綱；（2）能正確認知并且運用以下詞匯和短語：astronaut, blend, talent, risk, extremely, invaluable, mission, launch, space shuttle, lift off, symbolise, misery, reveal等。文化意識目標（1）了解如何正確認識和理解偉大的人背后的故事；情感態(tài)度目標對于英美文化與中華文化的相似性以及差異性，進而將兩種不同文化結合。積極參與各種英語活動，克服困難，在新環(huán)境中進一步樹立準確的語言學習觀。重點（1）如何使用地道、恰當?shù)恼Z言書寫摘要；（2）正確理解并運用動詞短語、同義詞和反義詞進行恰當表達；（3）禮貌進行日常對話。2. 難點（1）能用得體的英語書寫摘要；（2）能正確、恰當?shù)厥褂脛釉~短語、同義詞和反義詞。寫作課：教學步驟教學活動設計意圖時間Step-1 Warming Up for WritingThe teacher will give a situation, saying that students will write a summary of the text “The Superhero Behind Superman.” Tick the statements that are true about summary writing.任務型活動：課題引入采取代入情景的方式，使學生能更好地融入到寫作情景中。鍛煉學生材料收集、整理能力，同時也激發(fā)同學們熱情和參與課堂的積極性。3分鐘Step-2 Lead-inThis step is to lead the students to learn how to write a summary.Read the summary of “A Medical Pioneer”, and answer the following questions.1) What main points of the original text are included?2) What information of the original text is left out? Why?3) Does the summary included the opinion of the summary writer?緊扣上一環(huán)節(jié)的討論，通過閱讀一篇摘要范文，教師引導學生模仿文章書寫結構、語言和上下文間的邏輯銜接，以激發(fā)學生的興趣，導入寫作課意圖。5分鐘Step-3 Pre-writingThis step is to focus on text structure and language that will be used in the event description. Read the summary on Page 62 carefully and get the main idea of the summary.活動1：該教學過程主要是幫助學生梳理需要表達的要點，再根據(jù)要點進行寫作。 7分鐘Step-4 While-writingThis step is to instruct students to compose their writing. Divide the text “A Medical Pioneer” into four parts and write out the relevant paragraph for each part. Then match them with the correct focus. Read the summary again and find out the main information included in teach paragraph. Look at “The Superhero Behind Superman”. How many parts can it be divided into? What does each part focus on? Read the following paragraph from the text. What’s the main idea of this paragraph? Underline the key words. Summarise the paragraph in one sentence. Do the same for the other parts on the text.該教學過程主要幫助學生構思寫作大綱，以完成寫作目的。活動1：構建寫作大綱，主要參考教學過程4中 “A Medical Pioneer”的結構。20分鐘Step-5 Post-writingWhen the students finish the summary, draft it based on Activity 6 and use the Writing help to help you. Then edit your summary in pairs and share what you have written in class.完成后的草稿，同桌間進行交換批改，主要看摘要描述結構，句式結構以及是否信息是全面的。10分鐘閱讀和口語課（復習）：教學步驟教學活動設計意圖時間Step-1 Warming UpTeacher shows the titles of the two passages on the screen and lets students choose which topic they are interested in. Choose the passage that most students are interested in to introduce and the other passage will be left for after-class reading.任務型活動：課題引入采取圖片導入，激發(fā)學生積極性和主動思考的能力。并按照大部分學生感興趣的話題進行教學。如課堂時間有限，余下的文章可作為課后練習。3分鐘Step-2 Lead-in(1) If the topic is Space Hero:Teacher will let students say some space heroes they know.(2) If the topic is Anne Frank and Her Diary:Teacher will ask students if they know Anne’s Diary. If yes, let them say something about it; if no, then teacher will introduce it to students shortly.緊扣上一環(huán)節(jié)的討論，教師引導學生從不同方面對文本進行思考，有助于發(fā)散思維訓練以及更好進行文本閱讀。5分鐘Step-3 Pre-reading(1) If the topic is Space Hero:Teacher will show some space heroes on the screen and ask students if they know who they are(2) If the topic is Anne Frank and Her Diary:Teacher will show a picture about Anne’s diary and let students guess what the passage is about.該教學過程主要是幫助學生更好地了解文章內容。通過文章相關配圖，能夠大致了解文章所講述的內容，有助于學生把握文章大意和部分細節(jié)。7分鐘Step-4 While-reading(1) If the topic is Space Hero:Read the text and answer the following questions:① Why did the US President make a speech about the Challenger disaster?② What were the purpose of the Shenzhou V mission?(2) If the topic is Anne Frank and Her Diary:① Who was Anne Frank? What happened to her family during World War II?② Why did Anne keep a diary and write in it almost every day?該教學過程主要是幫助學生對文章進行深度剖析，通過幾個細節(jié)問題，讓學生學會如何提取、整理有效信息，并建立起文章的整體構架。20分鐘Step-5 Post-reading(1) If the topic Space Hero:Why does working in space call for a special blend of skill, talent and bravery as well as physical and mental strength? Explain in your own words and include evidence.(2) If the topic is Anne Frank and Her Diary:① Why id her diary one of the most important diaries ever written?② Read The Diary of Anne Frank either from a printed book or online. Which quote from the diary do you find the most impressive? Why?該教學過程主要是讓學生讀完文章后，能夠結合實際情況或自身情況對文章進行的更層次的思考，從而幫助學生更好理解文本內容和語言、文化差異。5分鐘Step-6 Homework Read the other passage left and do the exercise in the textbook.
