Who is a person you admire? 2. Why do you admire him/her? 設(shè)計意圖：創(chuàng)設(shè)情境，引入主題，鋪墊語言。 Step 2 Talking Use the diagram to discuss the person you admire. 1. What are some common careers? 2. What things do these professionals do? 3. What are the qualities of admirable people? Learn the examples of a famous scientist, a famous writer, and a famous entrepreneur. 設(shè)計意圖：利用語言支架，進(jìn)行拓展知識學(xué)習(xí)。 Step 3 Listening 1. What are the people in the dialogue talking about? 2. Who is an admirable person in Jenny’s mind? 設(shè)計意圖：基于主題引導(dǎo)學(xué)生獲取初步信息，導(dǎo)出核心內(nèi)容。 Step 4 Writing 1. Write about an admirable person in your mind. 2. Introduce the outline of an expository essay. 3. Share your writing with the class. 設(shè)計意圖：借助口頭表達(dá)，梳理說明文結(jié)構(gòu)。 Step 5 Discussion Talk about quotes from famous admirable people reflecting their understanding of life. 設(shè)計意圖：凝練升華語言，拓寬眼界。
