hardly /?hɑ?dli/ adv.幾乎不；幾乎沒有[副詞]表示否定含義。常用于實義動詞之前，連系動詞、情態(tài)動詞或助動詞之后。The shy girl hardly talked t peple in scial activities. 這個害羞的女孩幾乎不在社交活動中與人交談。He culd hardly believe his eyes. 他幾乎不敢相信自己的眼睛。
