必修三 Unit 4 Reading for Writing課題UNIT 4 SPACE EXPLORATIONPeriod 5 Reading for Writing學(xué) 科英語班級授課教師教學(xué)目標(biāo)By the end of this section, students will be able to:1. read an argumentative essay about space exploration;2. grasp the organisation and language features of the argumentative essay;3. write an argumentative essay about the value of space exploration;4. cooperate with group mates actively through checking their essays together.教學(xué)主題該板塊的活動主題是“闡述有關(guān)太空探索的論點”（Present an argument about space exploration）。盡管人類在航空航天事業(yè)上取得了偉大的成就，但是關(guān)于人類探索太空是否值得這個問題，爭議一直存在。本單元的讀寫板塊就是從這個爭議性問題出發(fā)，讓學(xué)生通過閱讀一篇議論文了解人們對待這個問題的不同態(tài)度和不同視角，既要理解太空探索需要付出的代價，又要認(rèn)識到太空科技對人類生活的影響。最后，學(xué)生需要結(jié)合自己的理解發(fā)表對這個問題的看法，從而提升自己的批判性思維能力。教學(xué)重點1. 引導(dǎo)學(xué)生閱讀一篇有關(guān)太空探索價值的議論文；2. 引導(dǎo)學(xué)生掌握本篇議論文的結(jié)構(gòu)和語言特色。教學(xué)難點1. 引導(dǎo)學(xué)生運用所學(xué)知識，寫一篇關(guān)于太空探索價值的議論文；2. 引導(dǎo)學(xué)生通過協(xié)作交流，相互學(xué)習(xí)，培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的合作精神。教學(xué)內(nèi)容與過程Lead-in結(jié)合近期時事，讓學(xué)生思考太空探索的價值。? How does space exploration benefit the products that people use nowadays?讓學(xué)生完成活動2，探究本文的文本結(jié)構(gòu)和語言特點。? Read the first paragraph and underline the different opinions about space exploration.? Find the three topic sentences that summarise the writer’s arguments about space exploration.? Underline the sentence that repeats the writer’s opinion in the last paragraph.引導(dǎo)學(xué)生畫出文章結(jié)構(gòu)圖。 Step 2 While-writing讓學(xué)生完成活動3中的任務(wù)1。首先要求學(xué)生識別表達態(tài)度和觀點的句式，再讓他們結(jié)合自身的態(tài)度模仿寫出中心句和分論點（argument），然后讓他們按照議論文的結(jié)構(gòu)特點完成初稿。Step 3 Post-writing自改。讓學(xué)生檢查自己所寫的文章是否有語法錯誤。同伴互改。參照活動3中的2提供的清單，讓學(xué)生給同伴提出修改意見，并按照同伴提出的修改建議對自己的初稿進行修改。作品展示。讓學(xué)生在組內(nèi)推選出優(yōu)秀的文章在課堂上展示或朗讀分享。Step 4 HomeworkPolish up your essays based on teacher’s and classmates’ suggestions.備注
