Rafi and Sista brke ut in smiles, nw knwing that what Susan had dne was actually nt a deal but a favr fr the family. After Susan finished, she jined the girls again. “Andhere’s yur payment,” she said, handing the small basket f apples t the girls. As they walked hme, Rafi and Sista enjyed their treat. The juice was as sweet and warm as the feeling they had inside.

Jean. “Jean, this is Tm,” he said. “I want yu t make a telephne call t my ffice. Ask t speak t Mr. Bates. Tell him yu are speaking frm a dctr’s ffice. Tell him that my mther is ill.” He put dwn the telephne and went back t the ffice.
At ne ’clck, Mr. Bates came up t him. “I have had bad news fr yu, Tm.” he said. “Yur mther is ill. The dctr telephned. Yu must g t her.” “Thank yu,” Tm said. “I’ll g nw. I’ll cme back as sn as I can.” He left the ffice quickly fr the ftball grund. The big match did nt start until three but the grund was nearly full. But Tm’s ticket was a gd ne. He culd stand near the frnt. The ftball match was very gd. Many peple saw the match n TV. Peple at hme culd see everything in the ftball grund.
