Ellipsis in simple sentence簡單句中的省略

Ellipsis in cmpund sentence復(fù)合句中的省略
1.省略共同的主語或賓語。
*Mr. Smith picked up a cin n the rad and (Mr. Smith) handed it t a pliceman.
史密斯先生在路上拾起一枚硬幣，并把它交給了一位警察。
2.若主語不同而其后的助動詞、情態(tài)動詞相同，則省略后面的助動詞或情態(tài)動詞。
*Jack must have been playing ftball and Mary (must have been) ding her hmewrk. 杰克肯定一直在踢足球，瑪麗在寫作業(yè)。
3. 若句子中前半句與后半句的主語與謂語動詞相同，則省略后面的謂語成分。
*His apprach t slving the prblem made me happy, but (made) Jim angry. 他的解決該問題的方法使我高興，但使吉姆憤怒。
4. 若主語不同，但主要動詞及后續(xù)部分相同，則省略后面的主要動詞及后續(xù)部分。
*I was brn in winter in 1988 and Bb (was brn in winter) in 1987. 我出生于 1988年冬天，鮑勃是 1987 年冬天。
復(fù)合句中的省略
1. 賓語從句的省略。
①I truly believe that beauty cmes frm within.
②He said that the text was very imprtant and that we shuld learn it by heart.
⑴及物動詞后接賓語從句時，連接詞that一般可以省略；但如果及物動詞接兩個或兩個以上that引導(dǎo)的賓語從句時，那么只有第一個that可以省略。
④I knw that a mvie star will cme t ur city but I dn’t knw when he will cme t ur city.
⑤Please pass me ne f these bks, I dn’t care which yu pass me.
⑵when, where, which, hw和why引導(dǎo)的賓語從句有時可以僅保留引導(dǎo)詞。
2.狀語從句的省略

介詞的省略
1. 一些常和動詞、名詞或形容詞一起搭配的介詞常省略，而保留其后的動名詞，常見句型有：spend/waste time (in) ding, lse n time (in) ding, have difficulty/truble (in) ding, be busy (in) ding, stp/prevent sb (frm) ding 等。
*The heavy rain prevented him (frm) arriving there n time. 大雨使得他沒能準(zhǔn)時到達(dá)那里。
2. 表示時間的介詞at, n 和 in用在next, last, this, these, yesterday, tmrrw, every, each, sme, all 等詞之前，一般都要省略；用在一段時間狀語之前的 fr 也可省略（否定句中不能省略 fr）
*We have been here (fr) three weeks.
3. 表示行為方式的 in 在 in this way, in the same way, in anther way 等詞組中，經(jīng)常被省略。
He did it (in) this way rather than (in) anther way.

教學(xué)評價與反思
這節(jié)語法課的目的是幫助學(xué)生掌握省略的用法。
此外，在課堂上，擺脫了傳統(tǒng)語法教學(xué)中教師要扮演語法講解者的角色，積極地引導(dǎo)、啟發(fā)，給學(xué)生提供了大量的機(jī)會和語境感知語言，發(fā)現(xiàn)規(guī)律，鼓勵學(xué)生在不同層面上語用語言，使學(xué)生對語法意義，功能和運(yùn)用有了較深刻的理解，很好地實(shí)現(xiàn)了教學(xué)目標(biāo)。但由于課堂時間的限制，以及多媒體設(shè)備的障礙，部分環(huán)節(jié)未能精彩呈現(xiàn)，在今后的教學(xué)中我會繼續(xù)探究改進(jìn)的方法。
