完形填空在選材上源于真實生活,體現(xiàn)理性思維,人文情懷。主題語境包括人與自我、人與自然、人與社會。所選材料多取自原汁原味的外刊或英文網(wǎng)站。語言地道,充滿正能量,倡導至真至善至美的價值觀和正能量,突出在語境中對英語核心素養(yǎng)的考查。
1.考查多為記敘文或夾敘夾議文,偶爾有說明文和議論文。以實詞為主,動詞占多數(shù)。虛詞幾乎不考查。
2.以動詞、名詞為主,其次是形容詞和副詞。3.著重考查考生對文章語境的理解、詞匯運用能力、閱讀理解能力、分析判斷能力、邏輯推理能力和跨文化的交際能力。
記敘文常見的故事基本上可分為餐廳故事、師生關系、家庭生活和個人奮斗等類型。從敘事方式來看,故事內(nèi)容基本都遵循“起-承-轉(zhuǎn)-合”的常見記敘文寫作思路。從正負態(tài)度來解釋,則可分為兩種模式:一種為“負-正”,即故事開始就是“壞事”,后來轉(zhuǎn)變?yōu)椤昂檬隆?;另一種是“正-負-正”,即文章開始平靜祥和,中間經(jīng)歷挫折、困難,最終迎來光明美好的結(jié)局。兩種模式的共同點在于,無論故事如何開篇,過程都會經(jīng)歷曲折,結(jié)尾必然收獲美好、充滿希望??傊?,完形填空的選材基本都是積極向上、引人向善的文章。了解這些有助于考生理解文章內(nèi)容、把握主人公情感走向,進而幫助解題。
記敘文解題要領:
第一步:抓住文章的中心:中心思想有助于明確解題方向,而題目即中心思想。如果沒有題目,抓住文章的開頭和結(jié)尾,也可以抓住文章的中心。
第二步:角色帶入法:在做題時考生可采用“角色代入法”,把自己代入角色,有助于走進作者的思維,深人理解文章的含義。
第三步:明確寫作順序:記敘文的寫作順序有:順敘、倒敘、插敘、補敘、分敘,理清寫作順序有助于了解事情發(fā)展的來龍去脈,從而更迅速、準確地理解文意。
第四步:明確記敘文寫作六要素:記敘文的6要素(5W1H),即時間(when)、地點(where)、人物(wh)、事件(what)、原因(why)、結(jié)果(hw),抓住這些寫作要素,就基本上抓住了文章的主體。
第五步:抓住文章升華:寫作目的是借助敘事、寫人或?qū)懢皝黻U明一個道理,給人以啟迪或教益。

該類題是完形填空中比較簡單的,也是送分題。要仔細閱讀,但是這些詞可能隱藏的比較深;上文可能暗示下文答案,下文可能暗示上文答案,甚至上下文信息相隔較遠,因此要注意集中尋找這些暗示信息。

暗示與上下對應的思維方法,是突破此類完形填空最關鍵的思維方式??忌谧鲱}時要有全局觀念,進行連貫性思維,做題時要把每個空白處的含義與前后句的意思聯(lián)系起來理解,進行合乎邏輯的推理判斷。難選之處前后通常多有暗示,這種暗示多為后面暗示前面。
