These days, shrt vides have attracted millins f viewers nline. Many peple create shrt vides n ppular vide apps like Duyin and Kuaishu. Yu can even add music and special effects t yur vides. The vides are 15 secnds t a few minutes lng. They shw peple ding activities like cking, exercising and singing.
Teenagers especially enjy these vides. Mre than 50 percent f students in Grade 10 and Grade 11said they enjyed watching these shrt vides. Abut 47 percent have psted their wn vides, accrding t a recent reprt.
The vides let teenagers see funny and appealing things they wuldn't usually see. Many teenagers like t share the funny things they d with thers as well. Fr example, the 16-year-ld user named Xia Qianyu has psted vides shwing her learning jazz dance. This has wn her many fans.

T deal with this prblem, Duyin added a new functin in April, 2018. It lcks the app if smene uses the app fr ver tw hurs a day. In the same mnth, the gvernment asked cmpanies t cntrl these apps well and get rid f bad vides.
