語(yǔ)法“Ellipsis——省略”講解省略結(jié)構(gòu)的原則及其用法。
Types f natural disasters介紹了幾種常見(jiàn)的自然災(zāi)害,包括:干旱、臺(tái)風(fēng)、暴風(fēng)雪、海嘯、野火、雪崩和地震。通過(guò)介紹這幾種自然災(zāi)害,讓學(xué)生進(jìn)一步認(rèn)識(shí)到災(zāi)害天氣的影響和破壞性。
Extreme weather cnditins部分主要以聽(tīng)、說(shuō)的方式講述了人類(lèi)從數(shù)千年前就盡力預(yù)測(cè)天氣狀況,從商朝的甲骨文到西方亞里土多德的天氣形成理論,再到現(xiàn)在的衛(wèi)星和計(jì)算機(jī)技術(shù)的運(yùn)用,使天氣預(yù)報(bào)一步步精準(zhǔn)化。
課時(shí)目標(biāo)
1.掌握本課時(shí)的重點(diǎn)詞匯 frecast,reliable,rescue,emergency,exceptinally,claim,crisis,threaten, cmpare…with...,leave ut,head fr,cnsist f,result in,lead t,pay attentin t的用法,并能在真實(shí)語(yǔ)境中靈活運(yùn)用。
2.通過(guò)學(xué)習(xí)省略,掌握省略結(jié)構(gòu)及用法。
3.通過(guò)閱讀有關(guān)自然災(zāi)害的種類(lèi)、極端天氣狀況,加深對(duì)單元主題的理解,擴(kuò)大知識(shí)面。
4. 極端天氣破壞性極強(qiáng),號(hào)召學(xué)生從自我做起,從身邊的小事做起,綠色出行,減少碳足跡。

教師準(zhǔn)備:
1.準(zhǔn)備好該部分內(nèi)容的PPT和音頻材料。
2.準(zhǔn)備好有關(guān)自然災(zāi)害和極端天氣狀況的視頻材料。
學(xué)生準(zhǔn)備:
1.課前查找描寫(xiě)極端天氣的不同詞匯,并能用簡(jiǎn)短的英語(yǔ)描述不同的極端天氣狀況。
2.上網(wǎng)查找含有省略結(jié)構(gòu)的句子,體會(huì)其用法。
3.預(yù)習(xí)課本P65~67的內(nèi)容,找出該部分的新詞匯,并根據(jù)上下文猜測(cè)其含義。

(6) The sprts meeting is mre exciting than(it is)expected.
Guide students t sum up the usages f Ellipsis.
Then ask students t give examples which they searched frm the Internet.

【設(shè)計(jì)意圖】該部分基本按照課本順序設(shè)置活動(dòng),由淺入深,逐層加深難度,鍛煉了學(xué)生讀、聽(tīng)、寫(xiě)、說(shuō)的能力。首先,通過(guò)讀 “Did Yu knw?”部分,了解人們對(duì)天氣的預(yù)測(cè)情況。然后,通過(guò)聽(tīng)錄音,先解決淺層的理解,再記錄聽(tīng)力的要點(diǎn),完成 Activity 7和8。接下來(lái)是說(shuō)的環(huán)節(jié),通過(guò)語(yǔ)言輸入,學(xué)生頭腦中對(duì)自然災(zāi)害、極端天氣狀況有了初步認(rèn)識(shí),同時(shí)掌握了該部分常見(jiàn)詞匯和句型,再仿照上述內(nèi)容進(jìn)行對(duì)話(huà)練習(xí)。整個(gè)環(huán)節(jié)內(nèi)容不多,但環(huán)環(huán)相扣,遵循了語(yǔ)言的認(rèn)知規(guī)律,設(shè)置科學(xué)、合理。
