本課時以新聞特寫形式，報道了 Brwnlee家的兄弟情。哥哥和弟弟同時參加鐵人三項比賽，快到終點時，弟弟差點摔倒，哥哥上前相扶，比賽結(jié)果發(fā)生了逆轉(zhuǎn)，弟弟獲得了第二名，哥哥只獲得了第三名的成績。在成績和兄弟情之間選擇了后者，這和從小的家庭教育和環(huán)境是分不開的。通過閱讀這篇文章，作者用敘事的形式帶給我們思考，應(yīng)該怎樣對待自己的兄弟和家人。文章將德育滲透到字里行間，讓學(xué)生在提高閱讀水平的同時，也受到了心靈的教育，更加愛護(hù)自己的兄弟姐妹和其他家人。
