Farming isn’t easy.

(1) teach〔及物動(dòng)詞〕教。過去式為 taught。

(2) 疑問詞+動(dòng)詞不定式(短語)。
以-f/-fe結(jié)尾的可數(shù)名詞,其復(fù)數(shù)形式是變-f/-fe為-ves。這樣的單詞還有:shelf-shelves(架子)knife-knives(刀)wife-wives(妻子)half-halves(半)life-lives(生命)self-selves(自己)wlf-wlves(狼)thief-thieves(小偷)
(3) leaf 〔可數(shù)名詞〕葉;葉子。其復(fù)數(shù)形式為 leaves。
巧記:狼(wlf)為活命(life)去捉羊,小偷(thief)攜刀(knife)葉(leaf)叢藏架(shelf)后半(half)天不見羊,自己(self)妻子(wife)餓得慌。
