The theme f this unit is “the weather”.Thrugh a series f activities and tasks,it aims t guide students t recgnize and understand different kinds f weather,cultivate their bservatin and descriptin skills,and at the same time stimulate their lve and participatin awareness fr activities in different weather.By explring the weather,activities,and feelings,this unit aims t help students establish emtinal cnnectins with the weather and the activities,at the same time t recgnize the imprtance f the weather in the ecsystem.

T:Yes,yu're right.We are ging t learn abut different weather and the activities.Lk at the picture and share the three questins with me.
S1:I think the kids in the pht may feel excited because it lks like a rainy day but they can play utside.

S2:I dn't like rainy weather.I like sunny and warm weather best.I usually g fr a walk r play basketball in sunny weather…

(The teacher shws pictures,and students write dwn the weather descriptins:cludy,dry,lightning,strmy,windy.Then,play a guessing game.The teacher makes a mdel first.)
T:It is sunny.The temperature is very high and there is n water here.What adjective can yu think t describe it?
S:Dry?
T:Yes.
