2. Shw sme pictures f beautiful muntains and ask students if they have ever
climbed a muntain.
T: Lk at these pictures. They are muntains. Have yu ever climbed a
muntain?
Ss: Yes/N.
T: Hw d yu feel when yu climb a muntain?
(二)Pre-reading(5 minutes)
1. Present the title f the passage: "Hw d we feel abut the weather?" and ask
students t predict what the passage might be abut.
T: Tday we are ging t read a passage abut climbing a muntain. What d
yu think yu can see, hear, r feel when yu climb a muntain? Let's have a guess.
Ss: Maybe we can see beautiful scenery, hear the sund f birds, r feel tired.
2. Teach sme new wrds and phrases related t the passage, such as "rest area",
"in high spirits", "make gd prgress", "magical place".
(三)While-reading(20 minutes)
1. Fast reading
Ask students t read the psts by Helen and Peter quickly and answer the
questin: Are they visiting the same place?
Ss: Yes, they are visiting Munt Huangshan.
2. Careful reading
Ask students t read the psts carefully and cmplete the table n the
blackbard.

After the discussin, ask sme grups t share their ideas.
(四)Pst-reading(10 minutes)
1. Cmplete the exercises
Ask students t cmplete 1c and 1d in the textbk.
Check the answers tgether.
2. Rle-play
Ask tw students t act as Helen and Peter and retell their trip.
Other students listen carefully and give cmments.
(五)Summary(3 minutes)
1. Summarize the main cntent f the passage and the key pints f language.
T: Tday we read the psts by Helen and Peter abut their trip t Munt
Huangshan. We knw that they have different feelings abut the trip. Helen enjys it
althugh it's hard, while Peter desn't like it at first but feels gd at the end. We als
learned sme new wrds and expressins.
2. Encurage students t share their feelings abut the passage.

Read the passage again and try t retell it t yur parents.
