
本課時包括 Starting ut和 Understanding ideas兩部分。
Starting ut是導(dǎo)入部分,包括閱讀雜志頁回答問題和觀看視頻回答問題兩個環(huán)節(jié)。通過觀察雜志中提到的現(xiàn)如今罕見的三種動物,將學(xué)生的思維拉到關(guān)于動物的思考,貼近單元話題。通過觀看視頻,了解不同植物種子的傳播途徑,進一步了解神奇的大自然。
Understanding ideas部分講述了英國地質(zhì)學(xué)家和博物學(xué)家達爾文的發(fā)現(xiàn)之旅。達爾文乘坐貝格爾號進行了歷時5年的環(huán)球航行,對動植物和地質(zhì)結(jié)構(gòu)等進行了大量的觀察和采集。1859年,達爾文出版了《物種起源》,提出了生物進化論學(xué)說。除了生物學(xué)外,達爾文的理論對人類學(xué)、心理學(xué)、哲學(xué)的發(fā)展都有不容忽視的影響。
