限制性定語從句可用于修飾先行詞,非限制性定語從句可用于補(bǔ)充說明句子情況,因此,在讀后續(xù)寫中運(yùn)用定語從句,可以更生動(dòng)、形象地描述事物,增強(qiáng)畫面感;還可以補(bǔ)充說明事件的發(fā)展?fàn)顩r,推動(dòng)故事情節(jié)的發(fā)展。掌握好以下運(yùn)用定語從句的四種句型,將有效地助力讀后續(xù)寫。
句型一:主謂……先行詞(地點(diǎn)名詞)+where…1. The farm n which the bys lived was a small dairy farm where milking the cws was a daily rutine bth early mrning and at night. 為了具體地描寫小男孩在奶牛場(chǎng)的工作狀況,設(shè)置故事背景,該句用“where”引導(dǎo)的定語從句修飾“dairy farm”。
2. Seeing the injured dg, Grace came t a situatin where she culdn't help crying. 為了描寫Grace看到受傷的小狗時(shí)的心情狀態(tài),該句用 “where” 引導(dǎo)的定語從句修飾抽象的地點(diǎn) “a situatin”。
拓展:“where”引導(dǎo)的定語從句可修飾的抽象地點(diǎn)名詞有:situatin情況,狀況;stage階段; pint地步; psitin位置; case情況,案例等。
1. As Elli and I cked dinner, we nticed ur sister, wh was playing in a nearby lake, delightedly chatting with her friends. 為了具體描寫妹妹的行為,用“wh”引導(dǎo)定語從句補(bǔ)充說明妹妹此時(shí)的狀況,從句中“chatting with…”作伴隨狀語。
句型二:主謂……先行詞(人), wh…, ding…
2. It was Mark's neighbr, wh heard the nise, fllwing us there. 為了突出Mark的鄰居是因?yàn)槁牭皆胍舨鸥覀儯摼溆昧恕皐h”引導(dǎo)定語從句,從句中“fllwing…”作伴隨狀語。

句型三: Ding…, 主謂……, which…
