Section B(2a-2e) 第4課時
設(shè)計說明
首先讓學(xué)生談?wù)撓矚g的音樂、樂曲及樂器, 引起學(xué)生的興趣, 并依此結(jié)對進(jìn)行對話;然后利用2a來繼續(xù)導(dǎo)入對新課的學(xué)習(xí): 列出幾種中國樂器, 播放阿炳的《二泉映月》, 介紹一下阿炳。
對于Reading部分的處理, 首先通過快速閱讀, 讓學(xué)生了解本文是一篇關(guān)于音樂介紹及評價的文章, 并讓學(xué)生讀完后回答問題;然后細(xì)讀課文, 用合適的詞完成每一段的大意, 并從文中找出支撐這些大意的細(xì)節(jié);最后通過概括本文的一段文字讓學(xué)生準(zhǔn)確地確定定語從句的引導(dǎo)詞。通過如此反復(fù)閱讀, 學(xué)生既對整篇文章有了準(zhǔn)確而細(xì)致地了解, 又逐步掌握了noting supporting details的閱讀策略和定語從句的關(guān)系詞。

1. …but under the beauty I sensed a strong sadness and pain.……但在這美的背后, 我感覺到一種強(qiáng)烈的悲傷和痛苦。
(1) sense動詞, 意為“感覺到;意識到”。
She seemed to sense his anger. 她似乎感受到了他的憤怒。
【拓展】sense 還可作名詞, 意為“感覺;意識”。常用短語:
make sense有道理;lose one’s sense失去理智;
make sense of理解;in a sense在某種意義上。
There would be no sense of separation. 再也不會有分隔的感覺。
(2) sadness 名詞, 意為“悲傷;悲痛”, 其形容詞形式為sad。
He bowed his head in shame and sadness. 他羞愧和悲傷得低下了頭。
【拓展】英語中一些形容詞加后綴-ness 可構(gòu)成名詞:

2. …but it was one of the most moving pieces of music that I’ve ever heard. ……但它是我曾聽過的最感人的樂曲之一。
moving形容詞, 意為“動人的; 令人感動的”。常指事物本身具有“動人的”這一特征, 多說明事物, 在句中可作表語或定語。
His book is deeply moving. 他的書非常感人。
【拓展】move動詞, 意為“打動, 使感動, 移動”。
The moving story moved me deeply. 這個感人的故事深深地感動了我。
3. It is a pity that only six pieces of music in total were recorded for the future world to hear… 遺憾的是, 一共只有6首曲子被錄了下來得以傳世……
(1) It is a pity that…意為“……真是遺憾”, it在句中作形式主語, 真正的
主語是that引導(dǎo)的從句。
It was a pity that you could not come here. 你不能來真是遺憾。
【拓展】“It+be+名詞(短語) +that從句.”為固定句式, 常見的名詞短語有:
a pity(遺憾) , a shame(遺憾) , good news(好消息) , a fact(事實) , a wonder (奇跡) , no wonder(難怪) , no surprise(不足為奇) 等。
It was no surprise that he won the match. 他贏得比賽不足為奇。
(2) in total 意為“總共;合計”。
The repairs came to over 500 yuan in total.
修理費用總計500多元。
【拓展】total還有以下用法:
①名詞, 意為“總數(shù);合計”。
His business is worth a combined total of ¥3 billion.
他的公司加在一起總價值30億元。
②形容詞, 意為“總的;全體的”。
What’s the total profit of the company this year?
今年這個公司的利潤總額是多少?
4. Today, Abing’s Erquan Yingyue is a piece which all the great erhu masters play and praise. 如今, 阿炳的《二泉映月》成了一首所有偉大的二胡演奏家彈奏和贊賞的曲子。
praise 此處用作動詞, 意為“贊揚(yáng);表揚(yáng)”, praise sb. for (doing) sth.
意為“因(做)某事而贊揚(yáng)某人”。
She praised his cooking. 她稱贊他的烹飪技術(shù)。
Tom was praised for his hard work yesterday.
昨天湯姆因努力學(xué)習(xí)而受到了表揚(yáng)。
【拓展】praise還可用作名詞, 意為“表揚(yáng), 贊揚(yáng)”, 常用短語有:
in praise of贊美, 稱贊 sing sb.’s praises 高度贊揚(yáng)某人
