And yes, some of you were a little difficult to deal with! 是的，（那時）你們中有一些同學(xué)有點難以管理！deal with意為“處理；對付”，既可指處理或應(yīng)對具體的人或事，也可以指解決具有抽象意義的問題。do with也可表示“處理”。注意，how通常與deal with連用，what常與do with連用。Do you know how to deal with the problem?你知道怎么處理這個問題嗎？What are you going to do with the old newspapers?你打算如何處理這些舊報紙？2. …but the key is to learn from your mistakes and never give up. ……但重要的是你們要從錯誤中汲取教訓(xùn)，永不放棄。(1)動詞不定式短語to learn from your mistakes在句中作表語。當(dāng)主語是wish, dream, job, key, hobby等名詞時，常用動詞不定式（短語）作表語。My dream is to become a pilot.我的夢想是成為一名飛行員。(2) give up意為“放棄”，是一個“動詞+副詞”型短語，名詞作賓語時，放在up前后均可，人稱代詞作賓語時，必須放在up之前。give up doing sth.表示“放棄做某事”。Whatever you do, never give up.無論你做什么，永遠(yuǎn)不要放棄。When did your father give up smoking?你父親什么時候戒煙的？Step 5　Post-readingWork on 2d.Fill in the blanks with the correct forms of the words in the box.1.
