英語教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)教學(xué)基本信息課題Unit8Famous Discoveries課型        閱讀課年級(jí)初三教材分析教學(xué)內(nèi)容分析:本單元是北師大版九年級(jí)第八單元,話題是Discoveries,涉及到著名的發(fā)現(xiàn),年度發(fā)現(xiàn)、一份實(shí)驗(yàn)報(bào)告。在承接Get Ready 部分有關(guān)“發(fā)現(xiàn)”話題的基礎(chǔ)上,閱讀方面包括三項(xiàng)重要發(fā)現(xiàn)Lesson 22: Famous discoveries(antibiotics, DNA, X-rays);Lesson 24 An experiment report種植馬鈴署的步驟和經(jīng)過。聽力方面是聽一段演講,熟悉正式演講構(gòu)成的要素, Lesson 23 Discovery of the year;寫作是寫一篇關(guān)于自己的發(fā)現(xiàn)或經(jīng)歷的報(bào)告 Communication Workshop:Learning from discoveries。語法是條件狀語從句(conditionalsLesson 22是一節(jié)閱讀課,涉及的話題是Famous discovery。第一發(fā)現(xiàn)是抗生素,它在現(xiàn)實(shí)生活中作用比較大,但要注意適當(dāng)使用。第二發(fā)現(xiàn)是DNA,文本中介紹了它的架構(gòu),同時(shí)通過這個(gè)我們可以獲知孩子從父母那遺傳了哪些基因,同時(shí)也能在醫(yī)學(xué)界可以幫助治療很多疾病。第三個(gè)發(fā)現(xiàn)是X光射線,介紹了它的發(fā)明人及它的作用,在生活中人們把它用到了各行各業(yè)中。通過文本學(xué)習(xí),使學(xué)生了解這些方面的知識(shí),在生活中能夠解決一些小問題。設(shè)計(jì)思路:?        由科技發(fā)現(xiàn)的圖片和提示詞介紹一些科學(xué)發(fā)現(xiàn). 激發(fā)學(xué)生興趣,引出本節(jié)課的話題Discoveries。?        通過Skimming的閱讀方法,訓(xùn)練學(xué)生關(guān)注首尾段和標(biāo)題和插圖等內(nèi)容獲取文章主旨大意。?        通過細(xì)讀課文,關(guān)注數(shù)字、日期、動(dòng)作等的描述,獲取文章的細(xì)節(jié)信息。?        通過完成課文內(nèi)容的填空練習(xí),復(fù)習(xí)、誒華本科所學(xué)的詞匯,進(jìn)一步理解本科所學(xué)的詞匯和話題。?        通過分析文本,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生熱愛生活、善于發(fā)現(xiàn)的優(yōu)良品質(zhì)。教學(xué)目標(biāo)在本課學(xué)習(xí)結(jié)束時(shí),學(xué)生能夠:1. 通過閱讀文本,獲取有關(guān)three discoveries的名稱、發(fā)明人及用途等基本信息。2. 通過閱讀文本,表達(dá)出這些發(fā)現(xiàn)在現(xiàn)實(shí)生活中的所起的作用,了解一些簡單的醫(yī)學(xué)常識(shí)。3. 通過本節(jié)課的學(xué)習(xí),使學(xué)生了解到需要長久不懈的努力和堅(jiān)持,才能有所發(fā)現(xiàn),有所成就。教學(xué)重、難點(diǎn)教學(xué)重點(diǎn): 通過快速閱讀文本,獲取文章的主旨大意;通過細(xì)讀文本,獲取文章和細(xì)節(jié),了解有關(guān)three discoveries的名稱、發(fā)明人及用途等基本信息。 通過分析文本,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生熱愛生活、善于發(fā)現(xiàn)的優(yōu)良品質(zhì)。 教學(xué)難點(diǎn):運(yùn)用閱讀技巧,獲取文章的主旨大意和細(xì)節(jié)信息。 教學(xué)過程:教學(xué)步驟教師活動(dòng)學(xué)生活動(dòng)設(shè)計(jì)意圖技術(shù)應(yīng)用時(shí)間Step 1Pre-reading1.Show the students some pictures about some people doing discoveries.2. Lead in the topic of Lesson22 “Famous Discoveries:。Look at the pictures and the questions:?       What is he / she doing??       What are they doing?Ask the students to talk about the pictures with the help of some key words and lead in the topic of Lesson 22.PPT3Step 22While-reading1. The first readingAsk the Ss to read quickly and get the main idea of the passage.1) What’s the passage about?2) How many discoveries are mentioned in the passage?Before reading, show the Ss Reading Help:?       The main idea of an expository writing (說明文)is usually, but not always in the first paragraph or in the last paragraph.?      
Look at the bold face letters(黑體字) and pictures to get key information.
2. The second reading.1) Ex. 3 on P90.Show Reading Help:?       Pay attention to key words like numbers, dates and actions.
?       Match the numbers, dates and actions with the events.       2)Ex.4 on P91Ask the Ss to read the body part and find the answers.?       Get the Ss to read the questions.?       Help them to read the body part and get the answers.?       Help them check the answers.       1. Listen to the teacher carefully and learn the Reading Help.  2. Read quickly and get the answers to the two questions according to Reading Help.  3. Check the answers .            1) Read Ex.3 and try to know what to do  in this exercise.2) Learn Reading Help.3) Read the table and try to know what to get in the second reading.4) Read the body part of the passage and complete the table.5) Check the answers.   1) Read and discuss the meaning of the questions in pairs and try to guess the meaning of “map” with the help of the picture.2Read and underline the answers.3) Discuss the answers in groups.4) Check the answers in class and try to understand the meaning of some key words in the body part.Get the Ss to pay attention to Reading Help and learn how to get the main idea of a passage.
