First aid is emergency care fr a victim f sudden illness r injury until mre skillful medical treatment is available. First aid may save a life r imprve certain vital signs including pulse, temperature, a clear airway, and breathing. In minr emergencies, first aid may prevent a victim’s cnditin frm wrsening and prvide relief frm pain. First aid must be given as quickly as pssible.
