本課教學(xué)內(nèi)容為牛津譯林2011課標(biāo)版七年級(jí)上冊(cè)Unit 5Let’s celebrate的Reading Ⅱ?qū)W時(shí)。學(xué)生通過上一課時(shí)ReadingⅠ的學(xué)習(xí)，對(duì)Hallween有了一定的了解。這一課時(shí)的目的在于，讓學(xué)生在深度閱讀課文的基礎(chǔ)上，進(jìn)一步了解萬圣節(jié)的風(fēng)俗活動(dòng)以及一些重要節(jié)日的意義，并補(bǔ)充一定的課外拓展信息。在回顧和鞏固上一課時(shí)所學(xué)內(nèi)容的同時(shí)，對(duì)文章進(jìn)行概況和細(xì)化處理，加深對(duì)文章結(jié)構(gòu)和句子的理解，鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生進(jìn)行語言輸出。

StepⅠ. Leading-in
Riddles ( Brainstrming f symbls abut Hallween)
Begin this class with sme riddles. Ss read the tips and tell what the wrds are. The answers are Mask, Cstume, and Pumpkin Lantern. Brainstrm the symbls f Hallween and activate their schema abut this festival.

Bing Game ( Revisin f imprtant phrases)
Play a game called Bing t g ver the phrases Ss have learned. They are prvided a table with 9 phrases in different rders n their wrksheet. Each f the grup members can read ut any f the phrases and when they hear it, they circle it. When the circles g in a line, they can say Bing. See wh will say “Bing” fr the mst times. The fllwing is ne f the tables fr the game. (different grups have phrases in different rders )

通過猜關(guān)于萬圣節(jié)元素的字謎和“腦力激蕩”活動(dòng)，導(dǎo)入本課中心話題。通過游戲Bing，復(fù)習(xí)上一課時(shí)所學(xué)重要?jiǎng)釉~詞組，喚醒他們?cè)谏弦徽n時(shí)中所學(xué)的知識(shí)，并鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生在接下來的任務(wù)中注意詞組的用法和使用重要詞組進(jìn)行語言輸出。

Beginning f the letter
Help Ss t recall the letter abut Hallween by the way f asking questins: Millie received a letter. Wh is the letter frm? It’s frm Wendy in the USA. Let’s read the beginning f the letter. Why des Wendy thank Millie? Teach “Thank Sb. fr Sth.” in situatins with the help f sme pictures and questins.
Bdy f the letter
Help Ss t recall the main activities peple d fr Hallween by listening t the messages sent frm an nline friend called Tny frm the USA. After listening t the first message, Ss get t knw Tny wants t invite them t his Hallween party and they had better get ready fr it. Then listen t the secnd message and find ut the activities they can d at the party such as dressing up, making pumpkin lanterns and playing “trick r treat”. Tell them they will be familiar with these activities ne by ne.

設(shè)計(jì)思路：
回顧Millie寫給Wendy的介紹萬圣節(jié)的信，在情境中教授和練習(xí)句型Thank Sb. fr Sth.的用法。通過聽美國(guó)朋友Tny發(fā)來的語音信息，告訴學(xué)生他們被邀請(qǐng)要參加Hallween party,因此要了解萬圣節(jié)的各項(xiàng)活動(dòng)，引出對(duì)正文部分的細(xì)化講解。
Engagement f Activities fr Hallween
★ Dressing up
Guide Ss pay attentin t the language tip. Dress up means put n special clthes fr fun. Ss talk abut the pictures n the screen and find ut what they are dressing up as. Ask what they want t dress up as fr Hallween party. Play a vide and let them watch, find ut the characters and read them ut.
Ss make a chain cnversatin t ask and answer frm ne t anther. They talk abut the characters they want t dress up as such as vampires , witches, mnsters that they gt frm the vide.

★ Making pumpkin lanterns
1) Shw Ss a picture abut pumpkins and ask: Hw d they lk? Ss can describe them with sme adj.s like funny, silly , rund, scary and s n. Lead them t read a Hallween rhythm with music and enjy the beauty f the rhymes.
2) Learn abut the steps t make a pumpkin lantern by watching a vide. Then retell the steps with their wn wrds. Guide them t use the wrds “first”, “then” and “finally” t remember the sequences easily.

★ Playing trick r treat
1) Nw let’s cme t the mst exciting part f Hallween. Help Ss t intrduce hw t play the game with the given infrmatin. Explain why we name the game “ Trick r Treat”.
2) Practice the verb phrase “give a treat” and “play a trick” by talking abut pictures and interacting in designed situatins.
3) After watching a vide abut Hallween night, rganize Ss t make up a shrt play. Prvide tw scenes fr them t act: Yur neighburs give yu smething as a treat；yu play a trick n yur neighburs as they dn’t give yu anything.

★ Having a party
1) Read ut the missing wrds in a passage abut the Hallween party. Fr the last missing wrd, encurage Ss t give ut different answers. Their answers might be interesting , special r scary, etc. Let them think which wrd is the best.
2) Guide Ss t think: What makes Hallween special? They may give ut different answers. Intrduce them a special game called Apple Bbbing as extra infrmatin.

在對(duì)dress up, make pumpkin lantern, trick r treat和 have a party四個(gè)萬圣節(jié)最主要活動(dòng)的一一回顧中，貫穿對(duì)重要語言點(diǎn)的情境化操練。同時(shí)，補(bǔ)充課文里未介紹的有關(guān)節(jié)日的拓展信息，讓學(xué)生全方位地了解這個(gè)西方的特別節(jié)日。伴隨節(jié)奏,吟誦詩(shī)歌;使用順序詞,復(fù)述南瓜燈的制作過程;通過連鎖對(duì)話,談?wù)撟约合胍难b扮;編制短劇,對(duì)Trick r Treat游戲情境再現(xiàn)。學(xué)生在參與、互動(dòng)和展示中進(jìn)一步掌握西方人過萬圣節(jié)的盛況，旨在為接下來的語言輸出活動(dòng)做好充分的輸入準(zhǔn)備。

有了剛才幾個(gè)環(huán)節(jié)的語言“輸入”，語言知識(shí)在這里出現(xiàn)了階段性的“輸出”，學(xué)生們將文章里介紹的，課堂上補(bǔ)充的對(duì)萬圣節(jié)的了解加以融合。為微電影配音的活動(dòng)，形式和內(nèi)容設(shè)計(jì)符合中學(xué)生心理特點(diǎn)和認(rèn)知規(guī)律。有教師提供的Mind Map作為語言支持，學(xué)生以小組合作的形式，先為微電影寫臺(tái)詞，再用英語介紹萬圣節(jié)，并在配音中饒有興趣地加入自己的觀點(diǎn)。

●教后心得：
每個(gè)單元的Reading部分，Reading Ⅱ課時(shí)會(huì)是上公開課的老師不太喜歡選擇的課型。因?yàn)镽eading的第二課時(shí)有一些語言點(diǎn)要講解，對(duì)文本的理解要進(jìn)一步地提升，把握不好，就會(huì)陷入枯燥講解、機(jī)械訓(xùn)練的循環(huán)。所以本節(jié)課在設(shè)計(jì)時(shí)，最初的定位就是：在模擬現(xiàn)實(shí)的語境中潛移默化地對(duì)語言點(diǎn)進(jìn)行多種形式的操練，通過視頻、圖片、音頻補(bǔ)充有關(guān)萬圣節(jié)各項(xiàng)活動(dòng)的更多信息，源于課本又高于課本。輔助學(xué)生，讓他們?cè)谟辛俗銐虻恼Z言輸入之后，能夠流利地用英語介紹節(jié)日。
用Riddles和Bing游戲作為課前導(dǎo)入（Leading-in），將學(xué)生引領(lǐng)進(jìn)入中心話題，Bing里的詞組都是課文里出現(xiàn)的重要和易錯(cuò)的詞組，能夠正確靈活地運(yùn)用它們，也是接下來學(xué)生能夠完成各項(xiàng)任務(wù)的詞匯和語言知識(shí)基礎(chǔ)。
語言輸入環(huán)節(jié)（Input），將信的正文分成四個(gè)部分，也是萬圣節(jié)的四個(gè)主要活動(dòng)，來進(jìn)行語言點(diǎn)的處理和課文思路的梳理及意義的理解。通過Tny發(fā)來的語音信息，設(shè)置學(xué)生要去參加Hallween Party的情境，引導(dǎo)學(xué)生對(duì)Hallween的幾個(gè)主要活動(dòng)逐步深層理解。把文本要解決的三個(gè)關(guān)鍵問題“Hw d we celebrate Hallween?” “Hw t play Trick r Treat?” “What makes Hallween special ?” 通過所設(shè)計(jì)的任務(wù)鏈由淺入深，逐個(gè)擊破。
語言輸出環(huán)節(jié)（Output），以學(xué)生的生活經(jīng)驗(yàn)和認(rèn)知水平作為出發(fā)點(diǎn),運(yùn)用情景教學(xué)，小組合作的形式表演關(guān)于Trick r Treat的短劇，為關(guān)于萬圣節(jié)的微電影寫臺(tái)詞，做配音。這樣，從聽說激趣，深入閱讀，落實(shí)到寫，讓學(xué)生完成對(duì)碎片信息的整合。
Reading Ⅱ課型，應(yīng)讓學(xué)生聯(lián)系生活實(shí)際進(jìn)行語言操練，使學(xué)生有話可說，有感而發(fā)，并適時(shí)進(jìn)行情感態(tài)度、價(jià)值觀方面的提煉。在閱讀教學(xué)中層層遞進(jìn)，步步深入，環(huán)環(huán)緊扣，注重知識(shí)背景的介紹、課文主題的提煉和閱讀技巧的培養(yǎng)。
