Unit3Sports and fitness 語法課Period 3 -- Discovering Useful Structures 教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)課型:語法、口語課 主題語境:人與社會(huì) 語篇類型:對(duì)話 授課時(shí)長(zhǎng):45 min 語篇分析:本課語篇的主題語境是人與社會(huì),主題群是文學(xué)、藝術(shù)與體育,主題語境內(nèi)容要求是體育活動(dòng)、大型體育賽事、體育與健康、體育精神。該文介紹了語法項(xiàng)目‘附加疑問句’,一般用在非正式的口語對(duì)話中,用來主動(dòng)提出談話的內(nèi)容,開始和對(duì)方聊天。 學(xué)情分析:高一學(xué)生們學(xué)習(xí)態(tài)度積極,平時(shí)在課堂上能運(yùn)用簡(jiǎn)單的英語回答問題,但是較少使用完整的句子回答問題;他們之前都在文本中見過、在對(duì)話中聽過反意疑問句(tag questions),但是對(duì)于其具體用法、功能、用途了解不夠清楚。 教學(xué)目標(biāo):在本節(jié)課學(xué)習(xí)結(jié)束時(shí),學(xué)生能夠:1. 基本了解tag questions的形式、功能和用途(forms,functions and application);2. 運(yùn)用tag questions就運(yùn)動(dòng)話題開展小對(duì)話(make small conversations。 教學(xué)重難點(diǎn)1. 通過閱讀和聽不同語料,學(xué)生能夠掌握tag questions的問答形式、語調(diào)功能。2. 通過兩次對(duì)話活動(dòng),學(xué)生們能提高在口語閑聊對(duì)話中使用tag questions的頻率和準(zhǔn)確率。 教學(xué)資源教材,多媒體課件,視頻,黑板,粉筆 教學(xué)過程:Step 1: Lead in (3min)Students’ activitiesTeacher's activitiesPurposeDo a Q&A activity with the deskmate, ask and answer questions concerning basic information like English names, birthdays or favorite sports… 1. introduce the Q&A activity to Ss.2. ask one students 4 questions about his or her basic information.3. use tag questions to make sure of the information and write them down on the blackboard. To help students know the basic form of tag questions through Q&A.Step 2: Learning (8 min)Students’ activitiesTeacher's activitiesPurpose1. Think and guess the rules of the forms of tag questions.2. Read the conversations on the handout and underline the tag questions and their answers. Try to find the rules of the answers.3. Complete the conversations with appropriate tag questions or correct answers.1. Summarize the rules of the opposite forms of tag questions following a positive or negative sentence by using the examples on the blackboard.2. Summarize the rules of using auxiliary verbs by using the examples on the blackboard.3. Summarize the rules of answers to the tag questions on the handout.4. Check students' answers.To help students know the basic forms of tag questions and their answers.Step 3: Thinking (15 min)Students’ activitiesTeacher's activitiesPurpose1.Read the conversations. Decide whether the intonation of the tag question is rising or falling.2.Listen to the tape and check the answers.3.Guess the differences of rising and falling tones.1.Require Ss to read the conversation and predict the intonation.2.Play the tape.3.Summarize the rules of rising and falling tones of tag questions.To help Ss form the right habit of using different intonation for different purpose when using tag questions.Step 4: Summary (8 min)Students’ activitiesTeacher's activitiesPurpose1. pair up and make up conversations based on the given situations, using tag questions without any examples.2. Stand up and present in front of the whole class. 1.require Ss make up conversations based on two situations without example.2. observe Ss’s conversations and correct them if there’s any mistake.3. Invite several groups to present their conversations in front of the whole class.4.
