簡單句、并列句和復(fù)合句英語中的句子有三大類:簡單句、并列句和復(fù)合句。一、簡單句由一個(gè)主語(或并列主語)和一個(gè)謂語(或并列謂語)構(gòu)成的句子。They are playing baseball in the park.他們正在公園里打棒球。Her brther and sister are bth teachers.她的哥哥和姐姐都是老師。
二、并列句兩個(gè)或兩個(gè)以上由并列連詞連在一起的簡單句稱為并列句。常用的并列連詞有:1.連接兩個(gè)同等概念,常用and,nt als...,等。例如:The teacher’s name is Bb,and the student’s name is Jhn.這個(gè)老師叫鮑勃,這個(gè)學(xué)生叫約翰。2.表示選擇,常用的連詞有r,等。例如:Shall we g ut t the cinema r shall we stay at hme?我們是出去看電影還是留在家里?
3.表示轉(zhuǎn)折,常用的連詞有but,yet,while等。例如:He was a little man with thick glasses,but he had a strange way f making his classes lively and interesting.他個(gè)子矮小,戴著厚厚的眼鏡,但他卻能用一種奇特的方法使他的課生動(dòng)有趣。4.表示因果,常用的連詞有s,fr等。例如:August is the time f the year fr rice harvest,s every day I wrk frm dawn until dark.八月份是一年中水稻收獲的季節(jié),因此每天我都從早忙到晚。
三、復(fù)合句1.概念:復(fù)合句由一個(gè)主句和一個(gè)或一個(gè)以上的從句構(gòu)成。從句通常由關(guān)聯(lián)詞引導(dǎo),關(guān)聯(lián)詞將從句和主句聯(lián)系在一起。2.分類:按其在復(fù)合句中的作用,分為主語從句、表語從句、賓語從句、同位語從句、定語從句和狀語從句。前四種從句在復(fù)合句中的作用相當(dāng)于名詞,統(tǒng)稱為名詞性從句。(1)主語從句Hw much incme we can expect this year is nt yet knwn.我們今年能有多少收入還不知道。Wh will g is nt imprtant.誰會(huì)去并不重要。
(2)表語從句The answer is that he is ne f the tp three physicists in his particular field.答案是在他的特殊領(lǐng)域里,他是三位頂尖的物理學(xué)家之一。(3)賓語從句Scientists explain that the utside f the earth is made f a number f different plates.科學(xué)家解釋說,地球的表層是由許多不同的板塊構(gòu)成的。(4)同位語從句The hpe that he may recver is nt gne yet.他會(huì)康復(fù)的希望沒有消失。
(5)定語從句The man wh is shaking hands with my father is a pliceman.正和我父親握手的那個(gè)人是個(gè)警察。A dictinary is a bk which gives the meaning f wrds.詞典是解釋詞語意思的書。This is the place where my mther was brn.這是我母親出生的地方。(6)狀語從句Listen and be quiet while thers are talking!在別人說話時(shí)要聽著,保持安靜!G back where yu cme frm.回到你來的地方去。Yu can tell me if yu need help.如果你需要幫助,你就告訴我。
