The bus driver, a middle - aged man with a friendly face, greeted me with his usual nd. Then I settled - int my seat, my mind already wandering t the day’s activities.
It was nly when the bus had left the stp and was halfway t schl that I began t feel discmfrt in my stmach. Then I realized that I had left my lunch n the sidewalk. Panic set in. My eyes filled with tears as I thught f missing ut n my peanut butter and jelly sandwich and the apple that my mther had carefully selected.
