Scanning the curt, Luis pretended t pass the ball t anther teammate but finally gave it t Nichlas. As Luis expected, Nichlas kicked hard and… GOAL! Just then, Devn walked up angrily. “What were yu DOING there, Luis?!” he yelled. Luis rlled his eyes.
Devn started playing sccer with them weeks ag. He was nice when he felt like things in the game had gne his way. Otherwise, he wuld lse temper.
“Playing sccer.” Luis shrugged. “Why didn’t yu pass t me? I was clser t the gal than Nichlas.” Devn yelled again.
As the grup walked in, Devn cntinued. Luis ignred him t avid arguing. Nichlas apprached and began cmplaining abut Devn’s yelling and disrespect. “What can yu d abut that?” Luis asked. Niclas said he wanted t rganize a new team withut Devn. Luis was upset t hear that. Nichlas said, “It’s mre fun befre he started playing with us. I’ve tld the ther teammates. They agreed.”
Reaching hme, Luis dragged his feet int his bedrm, which cnfused his mm. “What’s wrng?” She asked. Then, Luis tld what happened t her. “Have any f yu tried talking t Devn abut this?” She asked. “I dn’t knw.” Luis scratched his head.
“Maybe a bundary culd help. When playing sccer, hw d yu knw whether smene is at the right psitin n the curt? What’s that line called?” Mm reminded. “A bundary.” Luis murmured.
“Tell Devn whether he’s crssing a line with hw he talks.” She suggested. Luis tk the advice and decided t have a try.
The next day at schl, Luis fund Devn and tld him all the teammates liked playing sccer with him but they didn’t like being yelled at by him.
“I dn’t yell at peple.” Devn immediately interrupted.
“Yu yelled at me the ther day because I didn’t pass t yu,” Luis reminded calmly. “And yu are yelling nw. If yu keep yelling at yur teammate, we wn’t play with yu anymre.”
Devn was t embarrassed t speak. “Being yelled at isn’t fun but playing sccer is suppsed t be fun.” Luis said, patting Devn’s shulder gently.
Later, during the training, Luis met Nichlas and tld him what he’d tld Devn.

Luis was satisfied with Devn’s behavir, and Nichlas was surprised but happy t see Devn’s change.
As the training came t an end, Luis and Nichlas jgged twards Devn. “That was a fun game. Yu’ve dne a gd jb!” Nichlas said. Mved by Nichlas’s praise, Devn smiled and aplgized fr his impliteness in the past. Nichlas grinned at Luis, and bth f them ffered t give Devn a tight embrace. Obviusly, the “bundary” helped Luis find the way t include Devn in the team. Frm that experience, it culd be seen that respect fr thers and prper limits fr speech are imprtant in becming part f a team.
