本課時包括 Starting ut和 Understanding ideas兩部分。
Starting ut是導(dǎo)入部分，包括觀看視頻回答問題和看圖片回答問題兩個環(huán)節(jié)。通過對新舊時代快節(jié)奏和慢節(jié)奏的生活進行比較及觀察四組圖片，引導(dǎo)學(xué)生看到購物、居住、交通、通訊等生活中方方面面的巨大變化，激勵學(xué)生與時俱進，學(xué)好本領(lǐng)，適應(yīng)時代發(fā)展。鼓勵學(xué)生應(yīng)該好好學(xué)習(xí)科學(xué)和技能，不斷提高自身素質(zhì)，只有這樣才能順應(yīng)時代的變化，反之將會被時代洪流吞沒。為了明天和將來而奮斗，緊跟時代潮流，做一個時代的弄潮兒。
Understanding ideas部分以自述的口吻記敘了社區(qū)書店的變化。隨著電子產(chǎn)品和網(wǎng)上書店的興起，實體書店越來越蕭條，甚至面臨著關(guān)閉的危機，可這個書店承載著幾代人的記憶，是孩子們夢想的搖籃。于是，大家團結(jié)一心，將舊書店進行改造，煥發(fā)出新的生機。通過該文章的學(xué)習(xí)，引導(dǎo)學(xué)生認識到時代變化不可逆轉(zhuǎn)，要順應(yīng)時勢，奮力前行。
課時目標(biāo)：

2.通過速讀、精讀等方式，引導(dǎo)學(xué)生由淺入深，逐層推進，加深對文章的理解，并掌握不同的閱讀技巧和方法。通過對所設(shè)置題目的解答，讓學(xué)生學(xué)會根據(jù)關(guān)鍵詞提取重要信息，理清文章線索，并學(xué)會深層次分析問題，進行語言加工，提高歸納概括、推理判斷的能力。
3.通過閱讀文章，了解時代變遷，要順應(yīng)潮流，與時俱進。

1.列舉自己身邊的一些變化，從不同側(cè)面了解時代發(fā)生變化的角度和力度。
2.思考面對不斷變化、不斷發(fā)展的時代，自己應(yīng)該怎樣面對，怎樣讓自己的人生過得更精彩、更有意義。
3.預(yù)習(xí) Starting ut和 Understanding ideas兩部分的內(nèi)容，通過查字典等方式提前解決詞匯問題。
