Grammar過去進行時的被動語態(tài)
過去進行時的被動語態(tài)一、概念表示過去某個時刻正在進行或者發(fā)生的被動性的動作。二、構成:was / were + being +動詞的過去分詞 He found that he was being followed at the corner.他拐角處發(fā)現有人正在跟蹤他。
三、過去進行時態(tài)的被動語態(tài)的基本結構 1.過去進行時態(tài)的被動語態(tài)的肯定式為:was/were+being+done。When I called, the dumplings were being served.當我打電話時,正值上餃子的時間。2.過去進行時態(tài)的被動語態(tài)的否定式為:was/were+not+being+done。The young mother wasn’t being followed by the baby.那個年輕的媽媽沒有被孩子跟著。
3.過去進行時態(tài)的被動語態(tài)的一般疑問句需將was/were提到主語的前面。Was our teaching building being built at that time?那時正在建我們的教學樓嗎?
4.過去進行時態(tài)的被動語態(tài)的特殊疑問句為:疑問詞+was/were+(主語)+being+done?What was being done to the machine?對這臺機器采取了什么措施?
四、過去進行時態(tài)的被動語態(tài)的用法1.過去進行時態(tài)的被動語態(tài)同它的主動語態(tài)一樣,表示過去正在進行的被動動作。 He was being interviewed by our headmaster at that time.那時他正在接受我們校長的采訪。 This film was being shown then.那時這部電影正在放映。
2.過去進行時態(tài)的被動語態(tài)一般不與表示一段時間的狀語或表示次數的狀語連用,這時需要用完成時態(tài)的被動語態(tài)。如:The watch was being repaired twice.改成 The watch has been repaired twice.The house over there was being built for two months.改成The house over there has been built for two months.
