本課時(shí)包括 Starting ut和 Understanding ideas兩部分。
Starting ut是導(dǎo)入部分,包括觀看視頻回答問(wèn)題和聽(tīng)、讀詩(shī)歌回答問(wèn)題兩個(gè)環(huán)節(jié)。通過(guò)問(wèn)答部分將學(xué)生的思路引入不同時(shí)期、不同文化背景下的成人禮慶祝方式以及印象最深刻的成人禮的話題,緊扣單元話題。詩(shī)歌If以一位慈父的口吻,假設(shè)人生中可能遇到的境遇,鼓勵(lì)、勸誡兒子該怎樣面對(duì),不失為一部偉大的心靈雞湯。通過(guò)聽(tīng)、讀和回答問(wèn)題,讓學(xué)生了解成長(zhǎng)中最重要的品質(zhì)是什么通過(guò)練習(xí)活動(dòng),將學(xué)生迅速帶入成長(zhǎng)的話題,為后面的學(xué)習(xí)熱身,做好準(zhǔn)備。
Understanding ideas部分是三個(gè)不同國(guó)家的年輕人的自述,闡釋自己對(duì)18歲的理解以及與現(xiàn)實(shí)社會(huì)的碰撞和交融。通過(guò)該文章的學(xué)習(xí),讓學(xué)生理解18歲意味著成長(zhǎng),成長(zhǎng)意味著沖破束縛和樊籠,但同時(shí)也意味著責(zé)任和擔(dān)當(dāng)。
課時(shí)目標(biāo):
1. 認(rèn)知并靈活運(yùn)用本課時(shí)的重點(diǎn)單詞Integrity、virtue、licence、lan、electin、legal、mature、instantly、bey、gradual、apprve、steady.、cmmitment、suitable、minimum以及短語(yǔ) have a say,behind the wheel,make impressin n、neither.,nr?,in charge f、take respnsibility fr、instead f、cntribute t等。
