
本課時涉及的部分是語言知識運用,包括 Present perfect passive,Careers in science 和 Inventin stries三部分。
Present perfect passive部分講解現在完成時的被動語態(tài)的結構及用法。
Careers in science部分介紹了幾個不同時代、不同國家、不同領域的發(fā)明家,他們在各自的領域內做出了重大發(fā)明,推動了人類文明的進步。
Inventin stries部分主要介紹了阿爾茨海默病的有關情況以及一款幫助患者的智能鞋子的發(fā)明過程。
課時目標
1.掌握并記憶本課時的重點單詞 beynd,significant,injure,accurate,species,cure以及短語 due t,alng with,be regarded as,the number f,學會在真實語境中靈活運用。
2.掌握現在完成時的被動語態(tài)的結構及用法。
3.通過閱讀介紹不同領域的科學家以及他們的發(fā)明的文章,了解介紹人物的基本方法,并加深對該部分內容的理解,擴大知識面。
4.科學家在各自的領域里勤奮工作,甚至廢寢忘食,引導學生學習科學家這種忘我的工作精神以及一心造福人類的高尚情懷。通過該部分的學習,了解更多關于發(fā)明家和發(fā)明的故事,倡導學生認真觀察生活、了解實際需要并致力于努力學習,改善現有的生活,提高自己的科學素養(yǎng),多一份社會責任和擔當。

1.課前查找描寫科學家的不同詞匯和寫作方式方法,并能用簡短的英語描述不同領域的科學家。
2.上網查找含有現在完成時的被動語態(tài)的句子,體會其用法。
3.預習課本P29~31的內容,找出該部分的新詞匯,并根據上下文猜測其含義。

【設計意圖】該部分學習基本按照課本設置的順序來完成,由淺入深,逐層加深難度,鍛煉了學生讀、聽、寫、說的能力。通過讀“Did Yu knw?”部分,了解阿爾茨海默病,然后通過聽錄音,先解決淺層的理解,再記錄聽力的要點,完成 Activity7和 Activity8。接下來是說的環(huán)節(jié),通過語言輸入,學生掌握相關詞匯和句式,在此基礎上做對話練習。整個環(huán)節(jié)內容不多,但環(huán)環(huán)相扣,遵循了語言的認知規(guī)律,設置科學、合理。
