Internatinal Children’s Day is celebrated every year n the 1st f June. It’s a day when special prgrammes are bradcast fr kids. After the cnference held in Geneva, Switzerland in 1925, gvernments arund the wrld decided t specify a day as Children’s Day t draw attentin t children’s issues.
Wrld Children’s Day
Wrld Children’s day is always annually bserved n the 20th f Nvember. This is a day McDnald’s uses as a fundraiser fr Rnald McDnald Huse Charities. It was n Nvember 20th, 2002, when Wrld Children’s day was first held fficially.
Children’s Day in Japan
In Japan, Children’s Day is bserved as a natinal hliday called “Kdm n Hi” and is celebrated annually n May 5th. It was in 1948 that the Japanese gvernment declared Children’s Day as a natinal hliday.
