The 3D sensr in the Lighthuse camera, which sells fr 299 US dllars and a 10 US dllars per mnth service plan, simulates the eyes f a self-driving car. Teichman and Dahlkamp had been wrking n self-driving cars since 2005 and left the field because they weren’t cnvinced self-driving cars culd beat humans’ 8 (safe) recrd fr several mre years. “It seems like there are many mre research prblems in the way. We wanted t deply smething at 99% accuracy that wuld be delightful and useful t use right nw,” Teichman tld reprters.
Anther key element f the Lighthuse system is a vice-based interface fr setting up alerts and finding vide.
