Unit 2 Reading and Thinking課 題UNIT 2 MORALS AND VIRTUESPeriod 2 Reading and Thinking學(xué) 科英 語班 級 授課教師 教 學(xué)目 標(biāo)By the end of this section, students will be able to:1. predict the content of the text with its title and pictures;2. sort out the life experiences of Lin Qiaozhi and the choices she made through scanning;3. learn how to draw conclusions and use this skill to analyze the qualities of Lin Qiaozhi;4. retell the life experiences of Lin Qiaozhi with the help of mind map;5. grasp the features of a brief biography after reading;6. use key words they have learned in the text to complete one exercise.教 學(xué)主 題該板塊的活動主題是“學(xué)習(xí)作出人生抉擇”（Learn to make choices in life）。選擇林巧稚的生平作為閱讀部分的題材內(nèi)容，不僅僅因為她是我國著名醫(yī)學(xué)家，為我國醫(yī)療事業(yè)作出了巨大的貢獻(xiàn)，更重要的是，她的人生經(jīng)歷能給學(xué)生帶來無限啟迪。無論是在求學(xué)期間還是在職業(yè)發(fā)展道路上，林巧稚曾面對的道德困境和人生選擇，與當(dāng)前每個年輕人即將面對的社會生活有著許多相似之處，而從她的人生抉擇中，學(xué)生能夠感受到她身上的仁善、自強(qiáng)、勤奮、執(zhí)著、敬業(yè)、慷慨，還有高度的責(zé)任感和廣博的愛心。這些美好品質(zhì)不僅值得學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)，還能啟發(fā)年輕人反思自我，思考如何面對人生抉擇，認(rèn)真選擇未來的道路，全力以赴地面對人生的挑戰(zhàn)。教 學(xué)重 點(diǎn)1. 引導(dǎo)學(xué)生結(jié)合標(biāo)題和圖片對文章內(nèi)容作出預(yù)測；2. 引導(dǎo)學(xué)生通過尋讀，梳理林巧稚的人生經(jīng)歷以及她所做的重大人生抉擇；3. 引導(dǎo)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)如何下結(jié)論并運(yùn)用這一技巧分析人物品質(zhì)；4. 引導(dǎo)學(xué)生讀完文章后，結(jié)合思維導(dǎo)圖的提示復(fù)述林巧稚的人生經(jīng)歷。教 學(xué)難 點(diǎn)1. 引導(dǎo)學(xué)生掌握傳記的特征；2. 引導(dǎo)學(xué)生在讀后學(xué)會復(fù)述文章。 教學(xué)內(nèi)容與過程Lead-in呈現(xiàn)主題圖片（結(jié)合時事），引入本節(jié)課的話題——學(xué)習(xí)作出人生抉擇。Step 1 Pre-reading讓學(xué)生完成P16活動1，分組討論如下問題：?    What are some important life choices?引導(dǎo)學(xué)生結(jié)合文章的標(biāo)題和圖片，推測文章內(nèi)容。?    What do you think the text is about? What do you expect to read??    How do you understand the title of the text?Step 2 While-reading讓學(xué)生略讀文章，思考如下問題：?    What kind of text is it??   How are the events arranged?讓學(xué)生尋讀文章，梳理林巧稚的人生經(jīng)歷，思考P16活動2的前兩個問題：?         What hard choices was Dr Lin faced with throughout her life? Underline the sentences about these choices.?          What were the results of her choices?讓學(xué)生尋讀文章，思考P16活動2的第三個問題，揣摩作者意圖。?          What does the author want to illustrate by mentioning Dr Lin’s life choices?帶領(lǐng)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)P17活動3旁的閱讀策略，學(xué)習(xí)如何下結(jié)論，并試著用此技巧概括林巧稚的人生原則以及她身上的品質(zhì)。?         What was the main principle guiding Dr Lin through the choices in her life??          What kind of person do you think Dr Lin was?Step 3 Post-reading引導(dǎo)學(xué)生結(jié)合思維導(dǎo)圖，復(fù)述林巧稚的人生經(jīng)歷。引導(dǎo)學(xué)生分組討論，總結(jié)傳記的特征。引導(dǎo)學(xué)生完成P17活動4，用所學(xué)單詞的正確形式將所給句子補(bǔ)充完整。Step 4 HomeworkRead the text aloud.Write a short passage to describe Lin Qiaozhi in your eyes.備注
