Explain the new words to Ss and read them. Work on 2a. What kind of traditional food do people eat on special holidays in China?Guide Ss to brainstorm the traditional food and write them on the blackboard.復(fù)習(xí)如何制作火雞三明治,學(xué)習(xí)一些新的單詞并解釋這些新單詞。開(kāi)門(mén)見(jiàn)山直接進(jìn)入2a的問(wèn)題,列舉出傳統(tǒng)的節(jié)日食物。討論如何做這些美食。Step 2While-reading(PPT 13-20)Careful reading. Show some background materials about Thanksgiving Day to Ss.Work on 2b. Read the instructions to the class. Give Ss 5 minutes to read the article. Ask Ss to make marks in contents that are unfamiliar to them. Ss number the pictures 1-5 according to the instructions about one way to make a turkey dinner. Check the answers.Practice reading.3.Work on 2c. Ask Ss to look through the 5 questions in 2c. Read the article again and answer the questions. Write the answers on the lines.Choose 2 or 3 Ss to present the answers.Check the answers.本部分是課文細(xì)讀部分。閱讀之后對(duì)圖片排序并回答問(wèn)題。通過(guò)問(wèn)題設(shè)計(jì),讓學(xué)生帶著問(wèn)題閱讀,使他們把握文章的重要信息。Step 3Post-reading(PPT 21-24)Work on 2d.  Call Ss' attention to 2d.Read the instructions to the class. Make sure they know the task clearly.Ask Ss to complete the task on their own.Choose some Ss to give the answers.Check the answers. 2. Make Ss read the article again and finish the task.根據(jù)課文的主要內(nèi)容將制作火雞的順序填入表中,以此訓(xùn)練學(xué)生們的邏輯思維能力。通過(guò)填空達(dá)到復(fù)述課文的目的。Step 4Practice(PPT 25-28)1.Work on 2e. Read the instructions to the class. Make Ss look at the pictures and tell what they are. Ask Ss to talk about something about the food in the pictures.Ss read the five questions quickly.Pair-work. Work in pairs to ask and answer the five questions. Ask 1 or 2 pairs to present their conversations to the class if time permits.2. Writing practice using “first,next,then,finally...”. 此處是對(duì)2b閱讀課文的一個(gè)輸出拓展練習(xí)。通過(guò)練習(xí)使學(xué)生熟練運(yùn)用表達(dá)加工順序的詞匯。Step 5Language points (PPT 29-32)Explain the usage ofholiday, fill...with....,cover...with...Ask Ss to read the language points so that they can understand the language points deeply.  通過(guò)對(duì)比等方式使學(xué)生加深對(duì)holiday.等單詞用法和fill...with...., cover...with.等結(jié)構(gòu)的理解。Step 6Exercises(PPT 33-34)Practice the language points by doing these exercises.通過(guò)單選的形式練習(xí)所學(xué)的語(yǔ)言點(diǎn)。Step 7Homework (PPT 35)1. Read the article after class.2.
