Key vocabulary:enjoyable, activity, decide, try, bird, bicycle, building, trader, wonder, difference, top, wait, umbrella, below, enough, hungry, as, hill...feel like doing, enjoy doing,walk up to, decide to do, because of, walk around...2. Key sentences: a. I wonder what life was like here in the past.b. What a difference a day makes!c. When we got to the top, it was raining really hard.d. And because of the bad weather, we couldn't see anything below.教學(xué)難點:Lead Ss to write a travel diary.教學(xué)過程(表格描述)教學(xué)環(huán)節(jié)主要教學(xué)活動設(shè)置意圖Step 1Warming-up (PPT 3) Ask Ss to make conversations in pairs. Where did you go on vacation?Did you go out with anyone?How was the food and weather?Did you buy any gifts?編對話,復(fù)習(xí)上節(jié)課的內(nèi)容,導(dǎo)入本節(jié)課的旅行日記。Step 2Lead-in (PPT 4-7) 1. Show some pictures and know more about Malaysia. 2. Ask Ss to make conversations about travel to Penang.設(shè)計了幾幅關(guān)于馬來西亞的圖片,激發(fā)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)興趣。Step 3Pre-reading(PPT 8)Make Ss discuss the questions with partners.What do people usually do on vacation?What activities do you find enjoyable?討論問題并回答這些問題,激發(fā)學(xué)生對Jane’s diary 的好奇。Step 4While-reading(PPT 9-18) Fast reading: Make Ss read Jane’s diary entries about her vacation and answer the questions.Did Jane have a good time on Monday? What about on Tuesday?Careful reading: 1. Make Ss read Jane’s diary entries again and fill in the chart in 2c.2. Check answers in class. 3. Ask Ss to complete the conversation about Janes trip to Penang using the information in the diary entries. 4. Make Ss read the conversation in pairs.Then act out in class.本部分是課文細讀部分。閱讀之后填空,完成對話。通過問題設(shè)計,讓學(xué)生帶著問題閱讀,助于他們把握文章的重要信息。Step 5Post-reading(PPT 19)Make a mind map of 2b, and retell the diary according to the map in groups.Work in groups.  根據(jù)導(dǎo)圖復(fù)述兩篇日記的主要內(nèi)容,以此訓(xùn)練學(xué)生們的邏輯思維能力。Step 6Practice(PPT 20-21)Work on 2e. Imagine Jane went to Penang Hill again and had a great day. Fill in the blanks in her diary entry with the correct forms of the verbs in brackets.Read the travel diary again and pay attention to the past tense of the verbs.此處是對第2篇日記的一個延伸,用動詞的適當形式填空。通過練習(xí)使學(xué)生熟練運用動詞的過去式。Step 7Language points (PPT 22-29)1. Ask some students to read the language points so that they can understand the language points deeply. 2. Explain the usage of decide, because of, below...通過圖例、表格、對比等方式使學(xué)生加深對below, decide...等單詞用法和so...that....等結(jié)構(gòu)的理解。Step 8Exercises(PPT 30-32)Practice the language points by these exercises.通過詞形填空、漢譯英等形式練習(xí)所學(xué)的語言點。Step 9中考鏈接(PPT 33) Practice the structure: adj. + enough   精選了adj. + enough 結(jié)構(gòu)的中考題,使學(xué)生了解這個結(jié)構(gòu)在中考中的重要地位。Step 10Homework (PPT 34)1.Remember the words we have learnt today.2. Preview the next lesson. 設(shè)計該作業(yè)主要使學(xué)生們鞏固所學(xué)的詞匯,預(yù)習(xí)下一節(jié)課的內(nèi)容。板書設(shè)計Unit 1 Where did you go on vacation?Section B (2a-2e)1.
