Say This is a watch. And write the sentence on the board. Point to the word This and say What does This refer to? then do the same things with that, these and thoseThen lead Ss to sum up the rules how to use this, that, these and those Step3  Exercise 5Ask Ss to look at the table. Read the first two sentences and point out: in the first sentence, this is a pronoun, and a pronoun refers a noun, this refers to ring. In the second sentence, this comes before the the noun ring. Then ask Ss to work in pairs to do the things about the other three groups of sentences, then sum up  in class with the Ss. Ask Ss to complete the sentences with this,these,that,those". First give an example by doing number1. Then check by asking Ss to telling the answers and the reasons. Step4 Exercise 6Direct Ss to the pictures. SayLook at picture1a. This, that, these, or those? Elicit this Continue asking about the other pictures.Then say Now listen to the dialogues and tick the correct pictures. Then check in class by asking Ss to say the answers aloud. Step5  Exercise 7Direct Ss to the Tic-Tac-Toe game. Draw a grid on the board. Point to the computer in the upper left-hand corner and ask Whats this? Elicit Its a computer. Draw an X in the upper left-hand corner of the box. Show how to play the game. Then have Ss get into pairs. Say Now play a game of Tic-Tac-Toe Monitor as Ss play the game.  Step6  Homework完成學(xué)案上的題 tell the answers and correct the mistakes   listen, watch, think and answer the questions. Then sum up  the rules how to use this, that, these and those      Look at the table.Read the first two sentences, listen to the teacher carefully.Work in pairs to do the things about the other three groups of sentencessum up  in class with the teachers help    complete the sentences with this,these,that,those"check by telling the answers and the reasons.   Follow the teacher to think and answer   listen to the dialogues and circle the correct pictures.
