Antarctic ChallengeIn 1996, authr and muntain climber Jn Krakauer attempted t climb Munt Qmlangma. While he was successful in his climb, the muntain was hit by bad weather that day, and eight ther climbers – sme f his gd friends –were killed. Less than a year later, Krakauer and five ther men attempted t climb Munt Rakekniven in Antarctica.
