一、動詞不定式的基本用法1. 作主語。 eg: T see is t believe. 眼見為實。 【注意】為了保持句子結(jié)構(gòu)的平衡,往往用it作 形式主語,而把不定式短語置于謂語動詞之后。 eg: It’s dangerus fr yu t climb that tall tree.
2. 作表語:可以用在連系動詞之后,主要表示 愿望、責(zé)任、義務(wù)等。 eg: 他的愿望是成為一名科學(xué)家。 His wish was t becme a scientist.
3. 作賓語補足語: ① 在 tell, ask, want, rder, teach, invite, wish, help, warm 等動詞的后面,接帶t的不定 式作賓語補足語。
eg:我父母總是叫我不要在深夜給別人打電話。 他們是對的,那樣不禮貌。 —My parents always tell me nt t call thers late at night. —They’re right. It’s nt plite.
② 其后接不帶t的不定式作賓語補足語,這類動詞 為感官動詞或使役動詞,如:feel, see, hear, ntice, watch, have, let, make 等。
eg:我經(jīng)常聽見這個女孩在隔壁房間唱歌。 I ften hear the girl sing in the next rm. 那個男孩弄哭了這個嬰兒。 The by made the baby cry.
③其后既可接帶t的不定式,也可接不帶t的不定 式作賓語補足語,如:help等。 eg:我經(jīng)常幫媽媽做家務(wù)。 I ften help my mther (t) d the husewrk.
4. 作定語:須放在所修飾的名詞、代詞之后。動詞 不定式與被修飾的詞之間是邏輯上的動賓關(guān)系。
eg:那個年輕人在干什么?他正在尋找住的房間。 —What’s the yung man ding? —He is lking fr a rm t live in.
eg:上周我去圖書館借了一些有關(guān)如何保護環(huán)境 的書。 Last week I went t the library t brrw sme bks n hw t prtect envirnment.
5. 作狀語:可用作修飾動詞或形容詞的狀語,一般 放在其修飾的動詞或形容詞之后。
tell, ask, want, wuld like, wish, invite, encurage, teach等動詞后接不定式作賓語補足 語時,其否定形式是在t d前加nt,構(gòu)成nt t d結(jié)構(gòu)。
二、動詞不定式的否定形式
eg:我媽媽經(jīng)常告訴我不要在大街上玩耍。 My mther ften tells me nt t play in the street.
2. feel, see, hear, ntice, watch, have, let, make等 動詞后接不帶t的不定式作賓語補足語 時,其否定形式是直接在動詞前面加nt。 eg:讓那個男孩別走。 Let the by nt g.
