定語從句是指在復合句中作定語的從句,定語從句所修飾的詞叫先行詞。
定語從句通常放在先行詞的后面,由關(guān)系代詞或關(guān)系副詞引導。本課我們將學
習由關(guān)系代詞that或which及wh引導的定語從句。
which, wh, that 引導的定語從句
which, that 和wh是定語從句中重要的引導詞。下面的例句是由which, that和wh引導的定語從句。請同學們仔細觀察,然后補全結(jié)論部分所缺內(nèi)容。
【例句】
1. China is a cuntry which / that has a lng histry.
2. This is the bk which / that my mther bught me yesterday.
3. The man wh / that is standing by the dr is her brther.
4. I like the by wh / whm / that I met at the party.
【結(jié)論】
1. 觀察例句1和2可以看出,which引導的定語從句修飾的是____(人/物)。由例句3 和4可知,wh引導的定語從句修飾的是_____(人/物)。
2. 由例句1和3可知,which和wh在定語從句中可以作_____語;觀察例句2和4可以看出,which和wh在定語從句中還可以作____語。
3. 觀察例句1和2可以看出,which在定語從句中作主語或賓語時均可由________代替;由例句3可知,wh在定語從句中作主語時,可由________代替;由例句4可知,wh在定語從句中作賓語時,可由________或________代替。
