(1) Peple sit uncmfrtably n plastic chairs, lking thrugh ld magazines, all f which have been read hundreds f times previusly.
在定語(yǔ)從句中all f which為主語(yǔ),have been read為謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞。

分析:where 為關(guān)系副詞,代詞先行詞the waiting area,在定語(yǔ)從句中做地點(diǎn)狀語(yǔ)。在where引導(dǎo)的定語(yǔ)從句中,there be 句型構(gòu)成句子的主干。

Althugh it’s the dctrs and nurses wh will treat her injury, it’s my jb t make her feel better.
分析:強(qiáng)調(diào)句結(jié)構(gòu)一般為it is/was+被強(qiáng)調(diào)部分(主語(yǔ)、賓語(yǔ)、狀語(yǔ))+that+其它,但如果被強(qiáng)調(diào)的成分為主語(yǔ),且表示“人”時(shí),也可以用wh來(lái)替代that。此句中被強(qiáng)調(diào)的成分是主語(yǔ),即the dctrs and nurses。
It is the vlunteers wh/that assist the lcals and beautify the cmmunity.

Despite his father’s successful career, Stephen was thught by many peple, including his high schl teammates and caches, t be t shrt, t thin and t weak t fllw in his father’s ftsteps.
Stephen was thught t be t shrt…be thught t d…表示“被認(rèn)為做某事”,可以將此結(jié)構(gòu)改為:it was/is thught that…, 所以這句話可以改為it was thught by many peple, including his high schl teammates and caches that Stephen was t shrt, t thin and t weak t fllw in his father’s ftsteps。類似結(jié)構(gòu)還有it is/was said/believed/reprted…that…=sb./sth. is/was said/believed/reprted t d…

And there we see the Chinese players embracing, with tears f happiness in their eyes…

It’s thught that the first ever Chinese restaurant pened in 1908 in the UK. It was lcated in Piccadilly Circus, Lndn. Althugh this was a great breakthrugh fr the cuisine (菜肴), it didn’t pick up ppularity fr years.
Back in the 1950’s the idea f Chinese fd in the UK and America was simplistic; tinned Chinese curries (咖喱菜肴), prcessed fds and cnfused flavurs (味道), like Chinese fd n pizza. Takeut restaurants were few and far between and ther cuisines with less experimental flavurs were favured by Westerners.

Nwadays, mre frequent travel f British peple t China has expsed cnsumers t mre varieties and bth authentic (正宗的) and mdern Chinese flavurs. N lnger d thse living in the West fear cmplex and unfamiliar flavurs; instead they accept the cntrast and try t include them int their diet.
