Step 1: Warm-up
1. Greeting: Greet students and check attendance.
2. Lead-in
(1)Ask students: "What animals d yu knw?"
(2)Write the names f animals (e.g., dg, cat, elephant, tiger) n the bard.
(3)Briefly ask students: "Which f these animals are pets?" "Which are
wild animals?"
(4)Lead int the theme f the lessn by saying: "Tday, we are ging t
talk abut different animals, their abilities, and what they lk like."

(1)Shw flashcards r pictures f animals (bth pets and wild animals)

1. Activity 1: Pair Wrk – Describe the Animals
(1)Give each pair a set f flashcards with pictures f animals.
(2)In pairs, students take turns describing the animals using the sentence
structures:
- "It has..." "It is..." "It can..."
(3)Encurage students t be creative and describe animals they are
familiar with, nt just the nes n the flashcards.

their characteristics and abilities.
(2)Ask students t listen and write dwn 2-3 things they hear abut each
animal.

1. Activity 3: Guess the Animal Game
(1)In pairs r small grups, ne student will describe an animal using the
sentence structures, and the thers will try t guess the animal.
Example:
- Student A: "It is big. It has a lng neck. It can eat leaves frm tall
trees."
- Student B: "Is it a giraffe?"
2. Activity 4: Writing Practice
(1)Ask students t chse ne animal and write 3-4 sentences describing
it using the structures:
- "It has...", "It is...", "It can..."
Example:
"My favrite animal is a rabbit. It is small. It has sft fur. It can

Step 5: Cnslidatin
1. Review
(1)Review the vcabulary and sentence structures. Ask sme students t
share their sentences with the class.
(2)Write a few example sentences n the bard, and ask students t
identify and crrect any mistakes.

(1)Ask students t chse their favrite animal and write a shrt
paragraph (5-6 sentences) abut it. Encurage them t use the target
sentence structures.
Example: "My favrite animal is a dg. It is friendly. It has sft fur. It can
run fast."
