His research team wanted t see hw peple use bdy language t read intense emtins. T d s, his team gathered dzens f images f tp tennis players at the mment they wn r lst critical pints in cmpetitins like the U. S. Open. They shwed three grups f 15 participants images f just the face, just the bdy, r bth tgether, and asked the viewers whether the images shwed psitive r negative emtins.
Peple wh saw the bdy — with r withut the face — accurately distinguished whether the player was happy r distraught. Thse wh viewed just the faces failed t d s.
The team als transfrmed winning faces nt lsing bdies and vice versa, and fund the bdy cues determined whether viewers thught the players had wn.
The findings dn’t rule ut the face frm all emtinal indicatrs, he said. “But when things becme very intense, the gd and the bad cmbine tgether, and it’s hard t tell if it’s psitive r negative,” he added.
Interestingly, when peple saw a bdy and face tgether, they said they made judgments based n facial expressin. “Peple use infrmatin frm the bdy and then they read it int the face,” Hievet said.

Because the heart is made frm the patient’s wn bilgical material, it reduces the chance that the transplant wuld fail, accrding t the research paper. The team used fatty tissues, then separated and “reprgrammed” the materials. The cells that becme heart cells were then created.
The develpment is being praised as a “majr breakthrugh” in medicine and ne that culd help battle heart disease, the leading cause f death in the United States, accrding t the U.S. Centers fr Disease Cntrl and Preventin. “Patients will n lnger have t wait fr transplants r take medicines t prevent their side effects,” Tel Aviv University said in a statement. “Instead, the needed hearts, lungs etc. will be printed, fully persnalized fr every patient.” The research is still a lng way ff frm clearing the way t transplant the 3D-printed hearts int humans, the team says.
Dvir tld the news rganizatin Blmberg that the heart the team printed will need anther mnth befre cells develp full t beat. Tests n animals wuld need t be dne befre the technlgy culd be tried in humans, he added. It wuld take a whle day and billins, rather than millins, f cells t print a human heart, Dvir tld Blmberg.
