Step 2 Work on 2a Call attention to 2a.Ask the students to discuss the questions.Then ask some students to give their answers.Write them down on the board. Step 3 Work on 2b 1.Show a letter for help from a student,and the responses to his or her problems from an editor.Then make summaries. 參考示例 T:People today have all kinds of worries,such as pressure from work,study and life.Problems and worries are really normal in life.When meeting with difficulties,we shouldn’t run away from them but try to get over them.I think talking to someone helps a lot.Sharing a problem is like cutting it in half.You are halfway to solving a problem by communicating with someone about it.Do you feel the same way as me? 2.Show the new words on the screen or write on the board and teach the new words.Ask the students to repeat them over and over again.Make sure everyone knows their meanings. 3.Read the instructions and the three statements to the class.Have the students read the passage quickly for the main idea.Ask the students to put a mark in contents that are unfamiliar to them.Five minutes later,lead the students to read the passage. 4.Explain the important language points. Step 4 Work on 2c and 2d 1.Make the students read the passage in 2b.Before that,have the students scan the questions in 2c and the passage in 2d. 2.Let the students finish the exercises in 2c and 2d. 3.Ask some students to present their answers. 4.Check the answers.
