The mst ppular PE class at Waukegan High Schl in Illinis, US, takes place in the stadium.
It is the schl's versin f CrssFit, the difficult wrkut that has explded in ppularity ver the last 16 years at thusands f gyms. It has mre than ne millin devtees and a prfessinal cmpetitin shwn n ESPN.
Schls arund the Chicag area have adpted CrssFit t interest students at a time f a rising weight prblem amng yung peple, and mst say it really wrks cmpared with traditinal gym classes.
“I think it's a great way t teach kids lifelng fitness, especially thse kids wh aren't interested in hckey, sccer r basketball,” said teacher Tracy Haraf f Illinis' Stny Creek Elementary.“They think it's tugh, but they mentined their perfrmance has imprved.”
But sme dctrs and researchers advise cautin, saying wrkuts that invlve lifting weights can lead t injuries, particularly when perfrmed by inexperienced peple. Dctr Craig Finlaysn at Lurie Children's Hspital f Chicag said he was wrried that while strength training has a psitive effect n kids, heavy weights culd be truble fr teenagers wh might hurt themselves by trying t d t much r using pr frm.
CrssFit Inc., the cmpany that certifies (發(fā)證書) trainers and licenses gyms, disagrees that its prgram is mre dangerus cmpared with ther fitness rutines, like jgging. The cmpany even sued (控告) ver a research article that fund 16 percent f a CrssFit grup had stpped participating because f veruse r injury, saying the statistic presenting CrssFit as unsafe was nt scientific.
Gym teachers like Waukegan's Greg Misi, als say the risk f injury can be reduced with prper teaching and CrssFit's flexibility. Misi referred t a wrkut called “Death by Burpees”, where every ne minute and 20 secnds, students run a lap and perfrm an increasing number f burpees—a mvement invlving a squat (蹲下), a push-up and a jump with hands held abve the head. The challenge is t keep ging as lng as yu can.
“That's the great thing, because smething like running the mile, the wrst kid is always last,” Misi said.“Everybdy knws wh's last; the sense f failure will make them lse heart. Ⅲ 讀后續(xù)寫起始篇:讀通——感情發(fā)展(Feeling develpment)
故事類記敘文有兩條線索,一是情節(jié)(plt)發(fā)展線索,二是感情(feeling)發(fā)展線索。通常情況下,隨著情節(jié)的發(fā)展,文章的主角感情會隨之發(fā)生變化。所以,對文章的整體把握就離不開對角色感情發(fā)展的分析。
對于感情發(fā)展線索的梳理有兩個要點。
第一,按照情節(jié)發(fā)展的順序,逐步獲取表示感情的詞匯、句型及表達,進而獲取感情的發(fā)展。
第二,要特別關注感情最大的變化。這是記敘文的核心,往往也是最大沖突的爆發(fā)點和續(xù)寫的基礎。
