Answer the question, using the words to describe the classroom. And learn some new words: chalk, ruler, etc. 本活動為的是解決對話中出現(xiàn)的詞匯障礙,為聽對話作好準(zhǔn)備,同時,通過對話題的討論激活學(xué)生的背景知識,為聽力理解做知識方面的鋪墊。 Step Two Pre-task(5’) Task: Check the new words and present the key structure. 1. Organize the students to discuss in groups “What will our school be like in 10 years ?” 2. Collect the Ss ideas about what our school will be like in 10 years. 3. Show a picture of a modern school to the Ss and ask them two questions. Then get the Ss to try to ask the questions about the picture. e.g. Say: This will be our school in 10 years. Will life be different in the future? (Ss answer.) What are the differences? Now let’s have a competition, see who can ask and answer the most quickly using “Will…?” 1. Discuss in groups “What will our school be like in 10 years ?” 2. Share their ideas about what our school will be like in 10 years. 3. Answer the teacher’s questions and try to ask other classmates the questions about the picture. 本活動呈開放性,使學(xué)生有很大的自由度,激發(fā)學(xué)生積極參與的熱情,有利于激活背景知識詞匯。為進入對話進行鋪墊。Step Three While-task (20’) Task1:Listening 1. Play the tape, ask students to listen and choose Lingling’s answers to the questions in Activity 2. 2. Say: we’ll listen to another conversation among Ms Li, Daming, Betty, Tony and Lingling. They are talking about schools in the future. Now listen and choose the right answers to the sentences. 3. Guide the students to listen to the conversation again and check the students’ ideas about the future in Activity 3. T: Different people have different ideas about the schools in the future, now Let’s listen again and check their ideas. Then Organize the students to check their answers. Task 2: Reading 1. Organize the students to read the conversation with the video. 2. Ask the Ss to work with their groups to read the conversation. 3. Have a competition: Read the dialogue in groups and choose the best group. Task 3: Solve the language points 1. Organize students to come to the blackboard and show out some difficult language points that they found. 2.Help the students to solve the difficult points. Task4: Retell the dialogue 1.Ask students to complete the passage in Activity 5. 2. Ask two of the students to retell the dialogue. 1. Go through the sentences in Activity 2. Listen to the tape and choose Lingling’s answers to the questions in Activity 2. Then check the answers in pairs. 2.
