    Period 5 (Section B 3a-Self Check) 設(shè)計(jì)說(shuō)明 本節(jié)課為讀寫(xiě)課,在前幾節(jié)課聽(tīng)說(shuō)的基礎(chǔ)上進(jìn)行語(yǔ)言的輸出。本課時(shí),首先通過(guò)聽(tīng)寫(xiě)復(fù)習(xí)上節(jié)課所學(xué)的生詞和短語(yǔ),然后通過(guò)師生問(wèn)答談?wù)撍麄兊男履暧?jì)劃。同學(xué)們通過(guò)3a獲得寫(xiě)作啟示后,結(jié)合教師的寫(xiě)作指導(dǎo),完成3b和3c。最后的口語(yǔ)活動(dòng)4把學(xué)生對(duì)自我的認(rèn)知拓展到對(duì)社會(huì)環(huán)境的認(rèn)識(shí)和規(guī)劃上,拓寬學(xué)生的視野。以小組形式談?wù)撍麄冏约旱某鞘幸?guī)劃:如何將他們的城市變得更美,使他們具有主人翁意識(shí)。 教學(xué)目標(biāo) 1. 知識(shí)目標(biāo): (1)掌握單詞:own,personal,relationship。 (2)能夠運(yùn)用一般將來(lái)時(shí)態(tài)及所給的提示詞來(lái)完成填空的任務(wù)。 (3)通過(guò)完成Self Check中的練習(xí)題來(lái)全面復(fù)習(xí)一般將來(lái)時(shí)態(tài)的用法。 2. 能力目標(biāo):能夠綜合運(yùn)用所學(xué)知識(shí)來(lái)寫(xiě)自己的新年決心。 3. 情感目標(biāo):通過(guò)談?wù)撟约旱男履隂Q心,讓學(xué)生制訂切實(shí)可行的學(xué)習(xí)計(jì)劃,并為實(shí)現(xiàn)自己的計(jì)劃而努力。 重點(diǎn)難點(diǎn) 1. 重點(diǎn): (1)能夠運(yùn)用一般將來(lái)時(shí)態(tài)及所給的提示詞來(lái)完成填空的任務(wù)。 (2)能夠運(yùn)用所學(xué)知識(shí)來(lái)寫(xiě)自己的新年決心。 2. 難點(diǎn):能夠運(yùn)用所學(xué)知識(shí)來(lái)寫(xiě)自己的新年決心。 教學(xué)準(zhǔn)備 多媒體課件。 教學(xué)過(guò)程 Step 1 Revision & Warming up 1. Have a dictation of the following words and phrases: be able to,promise,beginning,at the beginning of,write down,physical,themselves,have to do with,self-improvement,take up,hobby,weekly,schoolwork,question,meaning,discuss. 2. Fill in the blanks according to 2b(on the big screen). (1)A resolution is a kind of promise. We usually make resolutions at the beginning of the year. We hope to improve our lives. (2)Some resolutions are about physical health. Many resolutions have to do with self-improvement. Some resolutions have to do with better planning,like making a weekly plan for schoolwork. 3. Review the phrases. (1)at the beginning of在……開(kāi)始 (2)write down寫(xiě)下;記錄下 (3)have to do with與……有關(guān)系 (4)have...in common有……共同之處 (5)too...to...太……而不能…… Step 2 Leading in 1. Ask students about their New Year’s resolutions. For example: T:What’s your New Year’s resolution,A? A:I want to take up volleyball next term. T:Great! What about you,B? B:I’m going to make the soccer team. And we’re going to practice soccer every weekend. ... 2. Present the new words “own,personal,relationship” on the big screen. Ask students to write and remember them. (1)自己的,本人的(adj. &pron. )own (2)個(gè)人的,私人的(adj. )personal (3)關(guān)系;聯(lián)系(n. )relationship Step 3 Reading 1. Work on 3a. Complete the first two paragraphs about resolutions with the words in the box. 2. Read the article and try to fill in the blanks. 3. Check the answers. Answers:are,help,make,take,is,learn,listen 4. Cooperative inquiry. Discuss the following language points and fill in the blanks. (1)own既可作形容詞,又可作代詞,意為“自己的;本人的”。own當(dāng)“擁有”講時(shí),用作動(dòng)詞。如:He owns a car. 他擁有一輛小汽車。 owner為名詞,意為“物主;擁有人”。如:I’m the owner of the house. 我是這所房子的主人。 (2)personal作形容詞,意為“個(gè)人的;私人的”。如:personal computer個(gè)人電腦;personal information個(gè)人信息。 (3)drive to work意為“開(kāi)車去上班”,相當(dāng)于go to work by car。 Step 4 Writing Work on 3b. 1. Read the headings. Think about your own resolutions. 2. Write your resolutions under the following headings. (If you don’t have any ideas,you may go through the passage in 2b. ) 3. Check the answers with your partners. Answers will vary. Work on 3c. 1. Use your notes to write three more paragraphs about your resolutions. In each paragraph,write what you are going to do and why. 2. 寫(xiě)作指導(dǎo):本文要求為自己寫(xiě)決心及做法,并說(shuō)明原因,因此,應(yīng)使用一般將來(lái)時(shí)。 應(yīng)先根據(jù)3b的想法,確定自己的決心,然后,具體說(shuō)一下自己打算怎樣去實(shí)現(xiàn)這個(gè)決心;最后,再簡(jiǎn)單地說(shuō)一下原因。 3. Read your passage to the class. Answers will vary. Sample writing:The second resolution is about improving my physical health. I am going to try a new sport like ping-pong and play it three times a week. Playing more sports will help me to become healthier and I will not fall ill so often. The third resolution is about improving my relationships with my family and friends. I am going to spend more time with my family. Maybe we can take up a new hobby together! Doing more things together with my family will make my family happy. I am also going to help my friends more. For example,I can help them with their English homework if there is anything they don’t understand. Helping my friends will show them that I care about them and that they are important to me. The last resolution is about how to do better at school. I am going to read more books in English. That is going to help me learn more English words. I know I can keep this resolution because reading is fun. Step 5 Discussing Work on 4. 1. Discuss the environment in your city. Are the streets and the parks clean? Is the air clean? Is your city quiet or noisy? 2. Tell students:It’s everyone’s duty to keep our city clean and tidy. Can you think of a plan to make it cleaner and greener? 3. Give students some examples:   We’re going to build a new flyover. We’re going to build more buildings.   We’re going to build a new subway. We’re going to protect the animals. We’re going to plant more trees and flowers. 4. Work in pairs to write your own plans on a piece of paper. 5. Let some students read out their plans. See who has the best one. Step 6 Group work City designers Imagine you work for your city. It’s your job to make it better(cleaner,more beautiful,richer,etc. ). What are you going to do? Write about your plans. Note:drive to work意為“開(kāi)車去上班”,相當(dāng)于go to work by car。 如:My father goes to work by car every day. =My father drives to work every day. Step 7 Self Check Work on Self Check 1. 1. Match the jobs with the school subjects. 2. Check the answers. Then make some sentences with them. For example: I want to be a computer programmer. I’m going to study computer science. Answers: Work on Self Check 2. 1. Go through the sentences by themselves. 2. Read the conversation and fill in the blanks. 3. Check the answers. 4. Ask students to role-play the conversation. Answers:want;to be;How,going;going;Where,going;going;to be,going Work on Self Check 3. 1. Tell students to make their own plans using the phrases. 2. Let some students read their plans. Correct the mistakes. [重點(diǎn)突破] 在做書(shū)面表達(dá)時(shí)注意做題技巧: 首先,謀篇布局要注意分段;其次,要根據(jù)要求判斷時(shí)態(tài);最后,要注意恰當(dāng)運(yùn)用一些連詞、副詞或短語(yǔ)等,如and,but,however,what’s more,besides,as well,first,second,next,finally等。 Step 8 Summary 1. New words:own,personal,relationship. 2. Grammar:①Use “be going to” and “want to be” correctly. ②Master the words that represent careers. 當(dāng)堂達(dá)標(biāo)(見(jiàn)導(dǎo)學(xué)案“當(dāng)堂達(dá)標(biāo)”) 答案與解析: Ⅰ. 1. relationship 2. personal 3. improve 此處to為動(dòng)詞不定式符號(hào),故后面跟動(dòng)詞原形。 4. together 5. resolution 根據(jù)is可知填單數(shù)形式。 Ⅱ. 1. write 該句為一般現(xiàn)在時(shí),主語(yǔ)we為復(fù)數(shù),因此謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞write 用原形。 2. to learn 此處應(yīng)用動(dòng)詞不定式作表語(yǔ),故填to learn。 3. healthy keep healthy意為“保持健康”,keep 后跟形容詞,表示保持某種狀態(tài)。 4. swimming “主語(yǔ)+spend(s) some time doing sth.”“……花費(fèi)一些時(shí)間做某事”。 5. had 根據(jù)時(shí)間狀語(yǔ)last year可以判斷,此處用一般過(guò)去時(shí)。 6. exciting excited是表語(yǔ)形容詞,主語(yǔ)一般是人。此處用來(lái)修飾something,應(yīng)用exciting。 7. practice plan to do sth. 意為“計(jì)劃做某事”。 8. violin 此處用來(lái)修飾teacher,名詞修飾名詞作定語(yǔ)。 9. myself teach oneself “自學(xué)”。 10. buying about 是介詞,后跟名詞、代詞或動(dòng)名詞作賓語(yǔ)。 Step 9 Homework 1.
