They were very clever. But Chinese people didn’t invent lots of things, too. For example: phone and bicycle. 2. Ss try to say: Chinese people didn’t invent telephone / bicycle.3.出示單詞bicycle。學生跟讀單詞。T: Look at these two bicycles. Can you find the difference between them? One wheel is very big, one is small. 并出示單詞（wheel）Who invented this bicycle? Today we’re going to learn M4U2.4.Listen and find, then answer: English people invented this bicycle. T: When did he invent ? Ss: in 1839. Read the sentence again and again: He invented this bicycle in 1839.5. 老師將“He invented this bicycle in 1839.”寫在黑板上，并告訴學生在具體年份和月份前要用介詞“in”。6.Find the other sentence with past tense.（課件出示）He was English.7.Listen and repeat. 四、Practice1.小組內練習朗讀課文并根據(jù)提示復述課文。Read and complete the passage._____ _____this picture.It’s a _____.
