Key vocabulary:available, until, hang, catch...too much homework, another time, go bike riding, hang out with sb...2. Key sentences:a. My cousin Sam from Xian is going to be here.b. I remember we went bike riding together last fall when he visited you.c. Sam isnt leaving until next Wednesday. d.Can you hang out with us on Monday night?教學(xué)難點:The usage of making/ accepting/refusing the invitations.教學(xué)過程(表格描述)教學(xué)環(huán)節(jié)主要教學(xué)活動設(shè)置意圖Step 1Review(PPT 3-6)Read the chant and review the usage of can. Practice the conversation and learn the usage of can.通過chant 在輕松的氛圍中復(fù)習(xí)can的用法。Step 2Listening(PPT 7-11)Work on 2a,2b. 1. Point to the five sentences.Make Ss read them.2. Play the tape for Ss to llisten to each conversation and then circle the word that makes the sentences correct.3. Check the answers. Read the sentences.4. Make Ss listen to the recording again. Write the names who can't go to the party and the reasons.5. Check the answers.6. Work in pairs. Practice the conversation. 播放聽力一遍后,完成2a. 利用這些對話,談?wù)?/span>can/cant事情。聽過第2遍以后完成2b。通過完成來練習(xí)這個對話信息。Step 3Practice(PPT 12-14)Work on 2c. 1. Ask Ss to look at the reasons in the chart in 2b. Write some more on their own. 2. Ask Ss to work in pairs to make their own conversation like the example.3. Ask some pairs to present in class.聽力之后,用2c的句型練習(xí)表達2b的內(nèi)容。練習(xí)鞏固這個單元基本句型。Step 4Role -play(PPT 15-18)Work on 2d.1. Have Ss scan the conversation in 2d.2. Lead Ss to practice reading the conversation.3. Make Ss role-play the conversation. In this part,student A will be Jeff. Student B will be Nick. As they talk, move around to monitor their work. Offer language or pronunciation support as needed.4. Ask some pairs of Ss to present the conversation to the class. Jeff: Hey, Nick, ....Nick: Oh, Sam, Jeff: Yes, ...Nick: I’d....5. Practice the conversation. Answer the questions.分角色表演對話,T---SS1---S2 然后根據(jù)對話的內(nèi)容回答問題。Step 5Language points (PPT 19-24)1. Explain the wordavailable.2.Explain the other usages of the following:not … until …, hang out with, catch you... 3.Explain the sentences. Thanks for asking... Maybe another time. 講解本課時重點單詞、短語和句子用法。Step 6Summary(PPT 25)Ask Ss to summarize the key words, the key phrases and the sentences. 要求學(xué)生自己總結(jié)本節(jié)課所學(xué)的重點單詞、短語和句型的用法。Step 7Exercises(PPT 26-28)Show some exercises to practice the key words, the target language and key sentences. 設(shè)計單選和翻譯句子等形式練習(xí)所學(xué)的重點句型和短語。Step 8中考鏈接(PPT 29) Practice the phrases of until.此處中考鏈接的是until的用法,這是中考常見考點。Step 9Homework(PPT 30) 假設(shè)你將于這個周末過生日,并開一個生日聚會,你邀請朋友們參加你的聚會,但有幾名同學(xué)因故不能來,請你將與他們的對話用英語寫出來。 練習(xí)對話是為了鞏固復(fù)習(xí)上課所學(xué)的關(guān)于邀請和回復(fù)的句型,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的口語表達能力。  板書設(shè)計Unit 9 Can you come to my party?Section A (2a-2d)1.
