    Unit 1. Where did you go on vacation ? 一.教材分析本教材是人民教育出版制定的義務(wù)教育教科書,教學(xué)內(nèi)容為八年級(jí)上冊(cè)第一單元Where did you go on vacation? 單元核心話題是用一般過去式談?wù)摱燃俚劝l(fā)生在過去的事情,本節(jié)寫作課需要立足教材內(nèi)容,通過反復(fù)使用動(dòng)詞的過去式進(jìn)行寫作,掌握英語(yǔ)旅行日記的寫法。二.學(xué)情分析我校農(nóng)村學(xué)生雖然受外界語(yǔ)言環(huán)境的限制,但通過日常課堂學(xué)習(xí),大部分學(xué)生已經(jīng)能夠掌握本單元的話題詞匯,程度較好的學(xué)生有能力在教師的引導(dǎo)下對(duì)話題相關(guān)詞匯進(jìn)行拓展與遷移使用。三.教學(xué)目標(biāo)According to the new standard curriculum and the syllabus, after studying the teaching material, the teaching aims are the followings:Knowledge objects:(1)     The students can master the usage of the important words and expressions.(2)     The students can use the simple past tense in the proper situation.(3)     The students can understand the content of the lesson, talk about holidays and vacations and get their own ideas about how to keep an English diary about travelling.Ability objects:(1)     To develop the students’ abilities of listening, speaking, reading and writing.(2)     To guide students to set up effective studying strategies.(3)     To improve the students’ writing ability.Emotion or moral objects:By completing the task, Students increase their interest in travelling and set up self-confidence in Chinese Culture.四.教學(xué)重難點(diǎn)Based on the requirement of syllabus.The important points is the usage of the simple past tense, such as the correct forms of the regular and irregular verbs.The difficult points are the English writing structures and skills, such as the logical order and the conjunctions.五.教學(xué)方法As is known to us all, a good teaching method requires that the teacher should help students develop good sense of the English language. For achieving these teaching aims,I will use the following methods according to the modern social communication teaching theories.(1)     Communicative approach (2)     Total Situational Action 六.教學(xué)過程Step1. Lead inDiscuss the Pictures on RMB including the scenery spots and the exact places.100-The great hall of the people 50-the Po-tala Palace 20-Guilin Scenery10-Three Gorges 5-Mount Tai  1-Three Pools Mirroring the Moon設(shè)計(jì)意圖:從學(xué)生所熟悉的實(shí)物入手,激發(fā)學(xué)生開口說(shuō)英語(yǔ)的興趣,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生說(shuō)出旅游見到的基本元素及地理位置,再看中華山水與實(shí)際生活的完美結(jié)合,激發(fā)學(xué)生對(duì)祖國(guó)文化的自信,逐步進(jìn)入主題。Step2. PresentationLook at the pictures on page7 and discuss the following questions:Where did we go on vacation ?What did we do there ?How’s the weather there ?How’s your feeling?設(shè)計(jì)意圖:在使用好課程的核心資源教材的同時(shí),充分挖掘?qū)W生的自身資源,給學(xué)生提供展示自我的機(jī)會(huì),使課堂教學(xué)充滿活力。Finish exercises on page 7 and discuss the structure of the passage.Basic writing elements: Where, Who, What, 2 When,2 How設(shè)計(jì)意圖:通過小組合作,共同探究的方式,在較為真實(shí)的練習(xí)中,學(xué)會(huì)使用語(yǔ)言,例如第一個(gè)活動(dòng)要求學(xué)生通過詞--句--篇的層層推進(jìn)和組內(nèi)的通力合作,達(dá)成對(duì)核心詞匯的掌握與運(yùn)用。然后在教師的協(xié)助下,通過第二個(gè)活動(dòng),了解英語(yǔ)日記格式,構(gòu)建學(xué)生英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)言的思維能力。Speaking and Writing            A vacation to the zooBeginning:Last Sunday, I went to... with...,The weather is sunny...→ chant: sun, sun, sunny;  rain,rain,rainy  Students go on with wind, cloud, fog.→ It’s sunny/ windy/ cloudy...設(shè)計(jì)意圖:在上一步中,學(xué)生通過小組內(nèi)對(duì)文章結(jié)構(gòu)的分析及整合,已經(jīng)可以進(jìn)行話題的延續(xù)與運(yùn)用,所以寫作開端靠自主學(xué)習(xí)的方式,推理出寫作常見句型,交代出基本要素;教師則通過chant的方式,與學(xué)生合作產(chǎn)出以下詞性轉(zhuǎn)換與天氣的地道性表達(dá)方式:It’s sunny/ windy/ cloudy...wind-windy;cloud-cloudy;fog-foggy.Body:irregular verbs and the simple past tense.Discuss what did we do in the zoo by using verbs.See(saw) animals ---- watch(watched) the shows --- take(took) photos.設(shè)計(jì)意圖:通過頭腦風(fēng)暴的方法,調(diào)動(dòng)學(xué)生原有語(yǔ)言的積累,進(jìn)而進(jìn)行輸出,用動(dòng)詞短語(yǔ)列舉在動(dòng)物園的各項(xiàng)活動(dòng),并以比賽的形式寫出本節(jié)課需要用到的過去式,強(qiáng)化學(xué)生的語(yǔ)言學(xué)習(xí)與語(yǔ)言應(yīng)用能力。Logical order:first(ly) --  second(ly)--   third(ly)設(shè)計(jì)意圖:對(duì)英語(yǔ)邏輯思維能力的培養(yǎng),是教師教學(xué)中常常忽略的環(huán)節(jié),也是學(xué)生不夠關(guān)注的地方,所以這一過程以教師講授為主,通過對(duì)文章基本邏輯詞的添加,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的邏輯思維能力,分清楚干事情的主次順序與先后順序,為今后英語(yǔ)寫作打下基礎(chǔ)。Add details: We saw quite a few animals such as... We experienced something interesting, that is, we watched the shows. On the show, the monkeys rode bicycles. We took photos together. There were so many photos to take, I felt like I was a bee!(仿寫)設(shè)計(jì)意圖:為滿足不同層次學(xué)生對(duì)英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)的要求,達(dá)到學(xué)有所用的目標(biāo),設(shè)置本環(huán)節(jié)內(nèi)容,主要以教師為主導(dǎo),引導(dǎo)學(xué)生回顧本單元個(gè)別詞匯,語(yǔ)法及修辭方法句式,讓學(xué)生學(xué)有所思,進(jìn)而靠學(xué)生為主體,進(jìn)行細(xì)節(jié)的添加,強(qiáng)化語(yǔ)言知識(shí)及修辭手法的運(yùn)用能力,并進(jìn)行組內(nèi)交流與拓展。Ending:  We had a fun time.        We were a little tired but we were happy.(仿寫)I wondered what life was like for the animals.         I wish I can go there again if I have a chance.設(shè)計(jì)意圖:作文的結(jié)尾有不同的表述方式,可以是總結(jié)式,可以是開放式,也可以是真實(shí)情感的流露,通過師生間的交流,共同探討四種結(jié)尾句式,表達(dá)旅行感想,使作文結(jié)構(gòu)完整。 七.板書設(shè)計(jì)     設(shè)計(jì)意圖:分塊板書,做到書之有用,書之有度,便于學(xué)生把握重難點(diǎn)。 八.作業(yè)布置Writing: A visit to …設(shè)計(jì)意圖:根據(jù)本節(jié)課內(nèi)容,運(yùn)用本節(jié)課詞匯及寫作框架進(jìn)行自主練習(xí),鞏固寫作水平。
