At the same time, it can also make students actively reflect on their own volunteer situation and get enlightenment from the passage. This kind of reading with questions is a kind of reading method that we often use in reading class. Our task-based teaching is to let students complete the tasks before, during and after reading. When the task is completed, a reading class will achieve its expected purpose. This not only enhances the students’ comprehensive language ability, but also consolidates the students’ ability of learning, memorizing and using the target language of the unit.Also, we can ask the students to discuss the volunteer work in 3a with their partner. And get them to think about the reasons why they would like to do the volunteer work. Then, we can use PPT to help them write a letter or e-mail. They can enrich their writing content after discussing.
