專題09 高級(jí)句式升級(jí)--定語從句(原卷版)定語從句是英語三大從句之一。定語從句的正確使用能夠比較明顯地反映出考生對(duì)于語言具有較高的掌握能力,所以建議考生一定要在寫作中至少使用一個(gè)恰到好處的定語從句。本專題包括:(一)關(guān)系代詞who, whom, whose, that, which, as引導(dǎo)的定語從句(二)關(guān)系副詞when, where, why引導(dǎo)的定語從句(三)“介詞+ which/ whom”引導(dǎo)的定語從句(四)相關(guān)句式積累(五)讀后續(xù)寫練習(xí)(一)關(guān)系代詞who, whom, whose, that, which, as引導(dǎo)的定語從句功能:關(guān)系代詞who, whom, whose, that, which, as引導(dǎo)的定語從句是寫作的一大重點(diǎn),尤其是whichas引導(dǎo)的非限制性定語從句在高考范文中更是屢見不鮮。e.g.:1> As an outgoing student, I am good at communicating with others, which makes me feel confident about this position. 2> As we can see from the materials above, the traffic issue is still a big problem.3> Only those who spare no effort to confront problems can achieve what they long for.句子練習(xí):我們都知道,《一起成長(zhǎng)》這部?jī)?yōu)秀的英文短片看起來很有趣。 她就是這樣一個(gè)總是樂于助人的女孩。 我們先摘顏色最漂亮的,然后是成熟柔軟的。 英國(guó)人對(duì)于不同文化和其他行為方式不是很熟悉,在其他國(guó)家情況也是如此。 我計(jì)劃幫助你學(xué)習(xí)唐王朝的一些詩(shī)歌,這是中國(guó)文明的重要組成部分。 (二)關(guān)系副詞when, where, why引導(dǎo)的定語從句功能:e.g.:1> During holiday seasons, I will live in the countryside, where(= in which) air is fresh and people are friendly.2> I think the reason why (= for which) you are always angry may be the high pressure of study. 3> Since it is summer when ( = in which) you stay in China, sun-protective coats and hats would be necessary.句子練習(xí):新年就要到了,到時(shí)Kate會(huì)和她媽媽一起去香港。 眾所周知,香港是一個(gè)購(gòu)物天堂,Kate打算在那里買她需要的東西。 (三)介詞+ which/ whom”引導(dǎo)的定語從句功能:e.g.:1> Speaking and listening are very important for a language learning, by which you are sure to make great progress.2> Our class also has problems of its own, of which the most obvious one is the students' laziness. 句子練習(xí):1我永遠(yuǎn)不會(huì)忘記我加入動(dòng)物保護(hù)組織的那一天。 2桂林是一個(gè)美麗的城市,龍脊梯田坐落于此。 3正是私家車給人們的出行帶來了很多便利,這也促使我們的經(jīng)濟(jì)迅速發(fā)展。 4互聯(lián)網(wǎng)為我們提供了一個(gè)更方便和有效的手段。我們可以通過這種方式處理許多日常事務(wù)。 (四)相關(guān)句式積累1. 眾所周知,除了美味的食物,敬老院里的老年人同樣需要的是溫暖和關(guān)心。(As we all know .... As is known to all ....)  2. 信不信由你,我們已經(jīng)找到了像那家廠子里用的材料。(such .. as ... ) 3. 她對(duì)他的方式和態(tài)度與以前完全一樣。(the same ... as ../ the same as ... ....) 4. 據(jù)我所知,你妹妹是通過考試的學(xué)生之一。(one of the +復(fù)數(shù)名詞+定語從句....中的一個(gè)) 她是員工中唯一稱職這項(xiàng)工作的人。(the only/the very/the right one of the +復(fù)數(shù)名詞+定語從句....中的一個(gè)) (五)讀后續(xù)寫練習(xí)閱讀下面短文,根據(jù)所給情節(jié)進(jìn)行續(xù)寫,使之構(gòu)成一個(gè)完整的故事。It was the day of the big cross-country run. Students from seven different primary schools in and around the small town were warming up and walking the route(路線)through thick evergreen forest. I looked around and finally spotted David, who was standing by himself off to the side by a fence. He was small for ten years old. His usual big toothy smile was absent today. I walked over and asked him why he wasnt with the other children. He hesitated and then said he had decided not to run. What was wrong? He had worked so hard for this event! I quickly searched the crowd for the schools coach and asked him what had happened. I was afraid that kids from other schools would laugh at him, he explained uncomfortably. I gave him the choice to run or not, and let him decide.I bit back my frustration(懊惱). I knew the coach meant wellhe thought he was doing the right thing. After making sure that David could run if he wanted, I turned to find him coming towards me, his small body rocking from side to side as he swung his feet forward. David had a brain disease which prevented him from walking or running like other children, but at school his classmates thought of him as a regular kid. He always participated to the best of his ability in whatever they were doing. That was why none of the children thought it unusual that David had decided to join the cross-country team. It just took him longerthats all. David had not missed a single practice, and although he always finished his run long after the other children, he did always finish. As a special education teacher at the school, I was familiar with the challenges David faced and was proud of his strong determination. We sat down next to each other, but David wouldnt look at me. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________I watched as David moved up to the starting line with the other runners. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
